Pretty self-explanatory. I'm just wondering if anypony just happens to have a SoundCloud profile!  (And maybe hopes of collaborating, hearing awesome new tracks or just make a couple new friends!)

 

But not just that. If you want to, post what kind of music you specialize in and maybe a track or two.

All that's on mine are some old ambient tracks from a school project I did in high school. At some point, I plan to do some more stuff, but I'm not sure when ir what that will be.

I have one, there is a link in my signature, I make a mix of electronic and more lighter peices.  I have a couple of tracks on it right now and as of right now I am working on another song since I'm done with classes for this semster.

 

By the way Supernova I have to ask how did you embed your soundcloud track?  I tried using the media brackets but it wouldn't work.

That's my more professional account (the other is just the user "CloudFyre" with one Winter Wrap-up remix uploaded).

One of my tracks made it onto 5 radio stations in Europe via the DC Mix, so I was pretty happy about that.   Needless to say, if I could do music as a career, I'd take it up in a heartbeat.

I'm posting the url from the soundcloud site but it only shows up as a hyperlink.  I even tried the embedding code from the site and it didn't work.  It's not to much of an issue it's just less complicated to post the track on here then to have people either download it or follow the link.

Check one more thing: does your url start with "http://www..." *or* "https://www..." <Note the "s" in the second one.

 

That "s" stands for "Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure", which is safer but more of a hassle for some browsers/message boards to work with. I found that removing the "s" worked for me in some cases.

i use FL Studio for when i do music stuff. The Talosian Incident was produced entirely in Reason, though, and the Dubstep Minimix was mixed together in Audacity. i don't consider myself great at what i do just yet, but i hope to get there. i'm at a bit of a creative standpoint right now, though. i plan to finish Starsweeper whenever that happens.

I feel ya. I get those a lot. But for some reason, I always come up with some kind of melody in school or while eating dinner or even while sittin' on tha toilet.

haha you too?!! the Darkmere cover i did was something i came up with while i was lying in the tub one day! i'm sure i've had lots of such moments in there, as well. my brain likes to get ideas at the most craziest of times.

I personally think you should. You don't have to make music to be on there, I know a couple people who just listen to stuff.
