I've been a fan of the show since late October, and I adore it for a lot of reasons, primarily the rich characters and the solid writing. I also love it for the fact that it's so cheerful and uplifting. I deal with a lot of psychological issues, so having something like FIM to cheer me up is wonderful. I've been avoiding registering on any large forums like this for a while because I'm shy, though I have been commenting on various EQ Daily posts. I heard about this place from a person I know of as Krall on another forum, and I finally decided that I should join a large forum, because making friends is good, right? (It's hard for me to make friends.) As I said, I'm a little shy, so it can take a bit to work me out of my shell. I have been working on a fanfic which is posted on FIMFiction...I may make a thread about it later in the appropriate subforum. My favorite pony of the Mane Six, if I really had to pick just one, is Twilight. She and I are quite similar in so many ways, and it's easy for me to get inside her head and understand her viewpoint on things. But I do love all of the Mane Six for different reasons. I also really like the CMCs(if I had to choose a favorite of those three, it'd probably be Apple Bloom.) I don't have a favorite background pony, but that's only because it's hard to keep all the fanon about them straight and not get things mixed up. My favorite episode is much harder to determine, since so many of them are great. Lesson Zero and Party of One both compete quite highly, Lesson Zero for its sheer humor value, and Party of One because it was the episode that made me finally like Pinkie Pie. But a lot of other episodes are really great too. It'd probably be easier to pick a least favorite than a most favorite, but I don't like doing that.
