Just recreate the thread in Sugarcube Corner, with an extra of "what do you think about it?" or something like that. Your first two sentence at the above alone should be enough to prompt a thread. Scootabloom would be ecstatic to see it

i could never understand the appeal of Scootabuse. HEY LOOK ONE OF THE CMC HAS NO VISIBLE PARENTS IN THE SHOW LETS MAKE HIM AN ABUSED ORPHAN RAINBOW DASH HATES!

likewise, the opposite was strange too, but far more believable and in tune with the show's nature. and now RD has said she's gonna take her under her wing, so happy ending, i guess.

Indeed. Though, to be fair, it's going to stick around just as it always has. The great thing with Scootalove becoming canon is that it gives us confirmation about how Rainbow Dash feels about Scootaloo. Before that, scootabusers could say that Scootabuse is as much canon as Scootalove because there was no concrete character development. They hardly ever interacted and when they did it wasn't personal.

 

Now while scootabuse will still be around, we can smirk and laugh, because it's now as much bullshit as any grimdark stuff
