That Aww Yeah Brony Moment

You ever have that moment where you go "buck yeah!" for whatever reason may have caused it?

 

For me, that moment was tonight when me and my family had an outing. We were driving through an area nicknamed "Candy Cane Lane" because my mother really enjoys looking at holiday lights when my sister started whispering under her breath Winter Wrap Up.

 

I wasn't complete sure that she was actually whispering Winter Wrap Up so I started playing it on my kindle, low at first but then she actually started singing along with the song.

 

Me and her were sing it very loudly when my parents decided to join along after they found the rythem of the song.

 

After the song was over I had asked my sister how she knew the song and she replied "I have seen every episode".

 

WHAT!?!?! Why had she never told me before!? I found out that her favorite pony was Twilight. This was a crazy bonding moment between and my sister.

 

I know that I am not the only person here who has that great moment so why not tell me yours?

I guess it would have to be whenever I see some epic artwork of a favorite pony of mine,

A few months back, I brought up MLP to my cousin.  I told him that I was a brony.  A few seconds later, he simply looked at me with a smile on his face.  Turns out, he's a huge brony as well.  Who would've known.

I guess mine would be when I find out some one in my school is a brony or pegasister and I go and become friends with them. It's a good feeling to meet new brony's and pegasister's.

Well Buck... i've never had one.... I guess when I bought my first MLP shirt and walked though a line in Bi-Lo with my mom and the bagger of are groceries went, Nice shirt.... that's the only one I could think of.

Mine would be when I posted some pony artwork on Devient art and one of my friends, whom i was roomates with from when I was in another country studying art, commented on it that she liked Rainbowdash too! I haven't talked to her since about 3 years ago when we parted ways, but now we are both Bronyfriends ^.^

     For me it's pretty much any time I get to talk about ponies IRL... I am bit asocial so those times are rare. In fact the only time that's happened was when five of my friends found out that was a brony and one of had watched a few episodes with her sister, the conversation was short-lived and uninteresting but meh most of conversations are that way

I don't ever have any Awww yeah brony moments, since I'm a closet brony and keep the information to myself.

 

I highly highly doubt my brother is a brony, and I know my parents aren't.

And I'm not even going to put bets on any bronys being in my school, I'm pretty sure theres some girls who watch the show(I guess they'd be Pegasisters, but i'm not sure how big of fans they are.) No guys I've seen yet I could ever ever imagine being a brony.

 

Besides I'm to shy to tell anyone about this kinda stuff. And I'm not that amazingly trusting either.

How about just wearing a pin? others wouldn't nessecarily get it but any bronies would and would soon let you know, no? Thats what I did, only I put a Luna pin on.

Yesterday actually!

 

Two of my friends found out I am a brony, and they took it great!

 

 

Also when my cousin was interested in the show and he ended up becoming a brony too :3

My friend was playing the Sims 3 on my computer. My friend put down a stereo in her house so that she could listen to music while playing. However, I forgot that I put a playlist of Pony music in the custom music radio station. I didn't bother telling her though.

 

For a few minutes, she remained silent, until she heard Wooden Toaster's She's a Pony Remix. 

 

"Is this...Pinkie Pie remixed with Pirates of the Caribbean music?"

 

I just kind of nodded, acting completely nonchalant about the whole thing, despite that I was silently freaking out inside about how she even knew what Pinkie Pie sounded like. 

 

She continued playing awkwardly, while I pretended to text beside her. This Day Aria came on, and she said-

 

"Hey, why didn't you tell me the true reason Bronies exist?" 

 

"What..."

 

"Seriously, now I get it! You're all just in it for the music, huh?"

 

I shrug, "I guess some of us are. I mean, I like the music but that's not the only reason." 

 

"Okay, I was just saying it all makes sense now. The music is awesome."

 

Coming from someone who's friends have never even given the show a chance, this was pretty much my only Awww Yeah Brony moment, but it was nice to see one of my friends appreciate the show for at least one reason.

Well, that's what I call a "It's something, right?" At least you can show your friend more about the awesome music and have her watch the show and maybe start liking for some other reason other than music (despite it being one of the many reasons).

 

 

As for me, my AWWW YEAH moments has been every time someone found out I was a brony. My family took it well, my cousin is now a brony when I showed her as well she turning me into a whovian, two of my friends took it well, one is now a brony as well even being more active than I am, and yeah...lots of AWW YEAH! Moments.

 

However I have two AWWWW HELL YEAH! moments which are when I discovered about brony music and I loved it, and when I discovered Fighting is Magic...........................AWWWWW HELL YEAH!

Eh I guess its a good idea, but I'm a bit to nervous about it in a way partly. I mean if someone did notice it they might tell everyone very loudly, and I'm to shy for that kinda thing.

 

And then theres always the flip side of haters who've actually seen the show in some form. They may recognize it. Plus people will probably ask about it..

 

So i don't think i will, plus I'd have to buy one, and even my parents don't know so. yeah .

Anytime I'm out somewhere wearing a Pony T-shirt or jacket, and random people brohoof me every 5 minutes. Gotta love that feeling.

Yeah...I've never had any moment like that before.

 

I'm working on getting a friend of mine (He's a hardcore hater currently. And no, he hasn't seen the show yet.) to join the fandom. If he does, then I'll celebrate.
