Molded Hair Ponies?

I was in Zellers here in Canada a few weeks ago and I came across a set of molded hair ponies. It contained Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Twlight and Pink Celestia (Shes sort of in the background of the photo). Does anyone know if there is anymore like these?

Yeah they're quite common. You seem to have more than just those four as I can see Rainbow Shine and Rainbow Dash at the front.

no those are just the mystery bag ponies (the ones in front). I'm talking about the standard sized ponies (the same size as the brushable ones)

I didn't know they made them any bigger than the blind bag ones. Well, they don't over here at least. Do you have a good shot of the Celestia? I'd be interested to see that.

I decided to retake the photo with all of them. Unfortunately I couldn't find my lamp so they might be a little dark. The first one is a comparision of the Applejacks while the second is a group shot.

There aren't any more exactly like that. That set was one of the first G4 products released. However, it didn't do well enough for Hasbro to release another set like it (probably because there weren't enough bronies around when it was released to buy it.) Fortunately, they are starting to give ponies with molded hair a second chance, since they let a company called Funko created vinyl collectables for release at Hot Topic. These figures are more expensive (around $15 USD), but they are larger and much higher quality than the typical Hasbro pony.

O.O I want that Applejack...

 

Never knew these existed, wonder if I can find them (or just Applejack) for cheap on eBay or somewhere. This was a set of all three or were they individuals?

 

Edit: Found the set on eBay, not sure I feel like spending $30 just to get Applejack. I already did that with the Nightmare Moon set, but it at least had a few others in it that I wanted as well so it made it easier to take. Wouldn't want to sell AJ by chance would ya?

Not sure where you'd find 'em, but good luck.

I'd suggest maybe looking in Target/Walmart/ToysRus or your grocery store, as my Stop & Shop has some pony toys I've never seen anywhere else.
