Hello everyone, I'm just doing a general interest check before I start my first RP up. So I'll give you a brief overview of the story and then just a quick look the conditions. Okay, let's get started.

 

From across Equestria you have been called to the small town of Ponyville, a little place where no pony is interested in going on any adventures and nothing unexpected ever happened. But an evil has been rising in the darkness, a shadow stirs in the East. You have been called to a meeting, a meeting of great importance. You have not been told who has summoned you or why, only that a letter has turned up at your doorstep.

 

 

"To whom it may concern,

 

You have been selected to partake in a quest that will require a good deal amount of stealth and no small amount of courage. You have certain skills that are of some use to us, skills that may prove useful overtime. More shall be explained upon arrival.

 

If you choose to accept then I would have you meet in the town of Ponyville, at the Inn known as the Prancing Pony. If you choose to decline then know that you are passing up an opportunity that does not come more than once in any lifetime. There will also be a from of remuneration for your assistance.

 

You have three days to decide. I hope you will make the wisest decision for our and your benefit.

And so your part in this tale begins. You must arrive at the Inn at the days close and meet your company, a company of ponies that have never met nor drawn a sword. None of you even aware of the darkness that would see to stop you.

 

 

 

This will follow the standard RP rules and conditions which I will post soon and I will allow ONE Alicorn max. If there are any others that insist on using an additional Alicorn then it needs my approval. Any changes to the story or plot will also need to go through me. Above all else, and this goes for anyone, no OP characters. I will not hesitate to kill off your OC if he or she single handedly killed 200 foes in one swing.

 

There are a few roles that need to be filled which you may volunteer for, but you must be able to back this up with your OC. The company will be assembled to the required 15 members which can be any race that is Canon to the show, but must remain within reason. For this reason I will not be accepting Changelings:

This is the part I was hoping to sort out very soon. I live in New Zealand and so our time zones will obviously be different, but luckily not too different. The RP will be commencing in about three weeks due to Christmas and will be running from the hours of 12:00-9:00 EST. This doesn't mean that you have to post for 9 straight hours obviously.

Oh, so you're an Alicorn. You'll be accepted none the less but your position could be switched out if we have too many Alicorns. It's just that we can't have one of the rarest breed of pony turn up en mass.

After a bit more writing the RP will be going ahead as planned. The status will be changed to 'Searching' and all the already submitted OS's will be accepted. Hopefully we can get this going in about 2-3 weeks time. Good luck.

I found out that Wållathen needs to be a warrior, and not the leader.

What a bad luck. I really want to play with Cunning Horn, but it's alright. Thank you, but I don't think that I can take another roll. My OCs can't cook at all.

Accepted. You can still take on a leadership role, it's just that you wont be leading the company. It just makes it a bit easier for me to keep the RP on track.

I just assumed you were entering both of them, what I have seen done many times. If you want me to remove one then I'd be more than happy to. A companion is basically the backbone of the company. To put it simply you interact with the rest of the group and you fight when you need to. You are in no way less involved than some of the named roles. The wise pony will simply be the one who is the above all voice of reason. So that basically involves helping with the journey and sorting out squabbles. It's a role that means you have to be very sure of your own leadership capabilities.

Actually the main problem isn't if you're wise or not, but playing as a wise pony will be more to lecturing which I don't really like to do.

Playing as a savvy pirate is much more interesting.

I was a bit iffy about your OC at first but I still think you have potential in this roleplay. Maybe it's just me being a picky reader again. In the meantime you're accepted.

The RP will be started as soon as I feel we have a satisfactory amount. I'll try to make it easier for your characters to arrive when it all gets going.
