Help on OC design - Color Shceme

Hi there , I’m working on a OC but for some days I’ve been stuck with the color scheme I want for her. So I just the idea to show you some of the color schemes that are close to what I want so you can game me some of your valuable thoughts.

 

Keep this in mind, THIS IS NOT THE OC I took this “future version” of Sweetie Bell from this amazing artwork, and re colored her. As you can see below the color of her eyes, mane and tail is fixed but Im not sure on the mane / tail . The same goes for her cutie mark I’m not into the black and pink stuff, but I can’t find another combination that fits with her pale coat.

I like the blue and purple one the most personally. The white and purple is nice too, but blue and purple looks a bit better. (Also love the mane/tail design!)

Blue white and yellow all look so good. I can't decide! (i'm terrible at deciding anyway XD)

These are really good color schemes.....I'll probably edit later when I figure it out...

going to go with white, all other colour scheemes look a little to much like Generation 1.

To my eye, it can be yellow, but definately not blue and purple... I suggest White and purple... or even very light pink.

It should be pleasing to the eye, coordinating well, but more importantly it should say a bit about your character. The bottom left one, for instance, looks really serene and glacial. The yellow one on the bottom right is a bit too vibrant - I wouldn't go with it, there's just too big a contrast between coat and mane. It would definitely fit a sparky character though!

The bottom middle one looks like Rarity 

 

I think the one that would generally suit anything would be the top middle one. The colours coordinate really well, and it matches up to all kinds of personality - I could imagine that particular one to be a serene, loving pony, but on the other hand it would work well as a brash or feisty one.

In the end it's down to you, but there's my insight.

Well after much thinking and some amazing talent by wicklesmack I got the final desigh for this OC. once again thanks to all of you guys who share your thoughts.
