No. Nuh uh. No way no how. Does not matter what it is. If I'm just getting a drink or if I'm going to write a 4888 page book, I will NOT pause that movie.

Instead, I will find a boring part and rush and do whatever it is I had to do as quickly as I could. Like a game. And I'll die on the inside if I lose and miss some action.

I pause movies a LOT, I'm a chatty person, and I tend to like, want to talk during movies, but I don't like people to miss stuff, so I'll pause the movie to tell them stuff, or to talk about something in the movie.

It's kinda weird, if I watch a movie on my computer I pause a lot because I get distracted and decide to do something else. You're a lot better than I am. I could take a couple of days to finish a movie because of it.

But there's a reverse to this, I have a vcr because I collect vhs and if I pop a movie in there I don't have that problem. I don't know why I can watch a movie clear through on one but not the other. It's not like I don't have my phone to be distracted with but it doesn't.

I watched and rewatched more classic disney in the first few months of having my vcr than I had in nearly a decade. :sealed: There's probably something to it but I honestly have no idea what it could be.

I try not to. Once I start a movie I don’t like to interrupt the flow of it. But sometimes distractions do happen, in which case I’d rather pause the movie than have it disrupted by outside elements. I admit I do like to snack while watching a movie at home, so I might make some provision for…provisions.

Unless, I need to leave the room for some reason, no, not really. If I'm watching a movie with a friend and we really want to talk about something, then we'll pause it to make sure we don't end up missing anything.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I'm the same way, but sometimes I get too into my head, y'know? like, I might not catch a line delivery, and I'll be so worried about interrupting the flow by going back that I'll end up missing even more stuff! so I've been trying to not sweat it too much, and so I guess my answer is: I'm trying to pause movies more :mlp_wink:

The only time I pause a movie is when I have to take a bathroom break, which is a rare occurrence. I feel like I might forget about what happened before the part that I had to pause it at, so I avoid pausing whenever possible.

Depends on whether I'm watching alone or with someone else.

If I'm watching alone, then I usually pause the movie because I remembered something I have to do or because I want to google something I saw/heard in the movie.
If I'm watching with someone else, then I'll pause the movie if I want to talk about something I saw in the movie with the other person. I think being able to discuss about something I saw is the best part of watching a movie with someone else.

I really dislike going to the cinema and one of the reasons is that I cannot pause/rewind the movie.

That's the least of my problems.

Having to go somewhere (instead of staying at home or visiting a friend at his home), having to be at some specific time, ads before the movie, not being able to pause/rewind the movie, especially to discuss something with a friend.

It's the combination of the worst aspects of watching the movie with a friend (having to coordinate etc) and watching ti alone (can't talk, so we might as well be watching the movie alone) and a bunch of unique crap added to the mix.

Yeah, the image and sound quality is better, but, to me, it's not worth it. I have a big TV and a decent sound system (stereo) at home.
