Will MLP get a 100th episode?

Do you think MLP will get a 100th episode? Do you think it will treated as a huge event, or just a regular episode? Do you want MLP to get a 100th episode? As long as the show hasn't dropped in quality by than, I'd be happy to see a 100th episode.

 

Assuming that the rest of the show's seasons will be 13 episodes, the 100th episode would be season 6 episode 9

I hope that the show will get more then a 100 episodes. It is one of the few shows that no mater how many times I see an episode I can still enjoy it. I'm a little sad that season 3 is only 13 episodes and wonder why that choice was made. But I have faith the show will reach at least 100 episodes.

Like most shows. If they do manage to get 100 episodes, they will normally release it on a special date. the chances of it happening though is soft of slim... the fanbase is nice and big. It won't be long until they eventually run out of idea's for episodes. I've heard they were in the process of making season 4 and a movie.. So I'm uncertain. If they could get it though I'd love it.

Well lets see. By the end of season 3 there will be 65 episodes. We already know that season 4 is in production, so assuming that it will be anywhere from 13-26 episodes long, 100 episodes doesn't look to far out of reach! x3

I think MLP will get to 100 episodes eventually. It would probably be around the 6th or 7th season that the 100th episode would be in maybe. But I do think that MLP will get to 100 episodes one day. Or at least I hope they do.

I think that if MLP gets a 100th episode, there'd definitely be something special in or about said episode. But that could mean many things: a giveaway, a nod to the fans, etc.

They will make it to the 100th episode, they will run short of idea but i highly doubt it. I think it should be like the South Park 100th episode, where there is a plot until the last 5 minutes and then a big musical appears and they celebrate the 100th episode.

Yes. I definitively think it will. I'm guessing at the minimum we will have 10 seasons, hopefully even more! And right now we're pretty much almost at 100 as it is. MLP is still in the beginning seasons, and there'll be plenty more episodes even after the 100th one. 

 

I hope that when they make the 100th episode they include something special in it. Maybe a special reference or song. It's gonna be so cool! I know that MLP will reach it's 100th, and hopefully 200th episode.

People keep talking about the rumors, what rumors are they referring to? I guess I've been out of the loop for a little while. I know that season 3 was only 13 eps but I don't remember them saying they were ending the series. After all the merchandise for the show is still selling like hot cakes.

There are rumors that Twilight will become an alicorn at the end of season 3, which I highly doubt, and many people believe that her becoming an alicorn will be the end of the series. It is confirmed that the finale is a stand alone episode (not a two parter), and if they were going to do something that dramatic, it would probably be in a 2 parter.

It's not a given, but I think there's a good chance of it. Definitely not 200, but 100 is reasonable. I hope they go back to 26 episodes in Season 4.

Oh they'll definitely reach 100 episodes, but I honestly don't see them continuing much farther after that. Don't get me wrong, I think the writers are fantastic and the show may live on in the fandom anyway, but, there's only so much that the current staff could do with the mane cast and Equestria. Who knows though? Maybe they'll surprise us.

I would say that if there's a Season 4, then yes.  The show will probably reach 100 episodes.  I say this, because Season 3 is often the magic number for alot of cartoons.  Nine out of ten Nickelodeon cartoons don't go past Season 3, and the same seems to happen often with Cartoon Network.  So if FiM reaches a fourth season, then I can almost guarantee we'll see episode 100 (and likely beyond).

Okay thank you. Yeah if it is a stand alone episode I don't seeing it just be a half hour episode where something like that happens. I mean it would make more sense for the final of the series to be a huge deal. I mean FiM has become a cultural phenomenon.

I really hope so! I don't want MLP to end any sooner then it has to(Even though I really want it to go forever, but forever is impossible unfortunately :/ )

 

I think its possible, I hope the next season as long as we have one is 26 episodes though.

I would like atleast 100 episodes, but as long as things don't totally crash the more the merrier .

It's possible and I hope so! I would not mind seeing this show go up to a 100 episodes. However, as long as the quality of the show is still great. Some shows are able to have 100 episodes or more without losing quality, but some shows can’t… Like Spongebob for example… <_<

If the show makes it to season 4, than I'm sure it will. Usually if a show goes past season 3, than you can expect to see many season after that. Most shows get to season 3 and than call it quits, but I pray that this show will last as long as the Simpsons.

In all likelihood, the show will exceed  100 episodes. The things are looking I'm fairly sure there will in fact be a 100th episode. Probably more than that.
