Many fliers have been placed around Ponyville, proclaiming a party/social gathering to be held at a large lake in the foothills between Canterlot and Ponyville, beside which, to much exclaim from local populace, a castle has been mysteriously constructed. The grandeur of this castle rivals the grandeur the Celestial Sisters' Castle in the Everfree Forest must have had, before its destruction. And it is entirely constructed of a variety of colours of sand. Your pony has noticed these fliers, and taken one, planning to visit this mysterious castle.



Features of the Party: The Sand Castle is situated on a lakeside beach, known as the Beach Courtyard, and the Beach Courtyard has a beach volleyball net and ball, and, well, lake access. In the Entrance Hall of the Castle, there is a banquet table set up, a punch fountain, multiple doors, and a Grand Staircase. The Grand Staircase has been roped off, preventing access to the upper levels of the castle.

Of the many doors in the Entrance Hall, four are left open and unlocked. The one nearest to the open door to the Beach Courtyard leads to the Grand Ballroom, in which a DJ podium has been set up, the center and one side of the room having been dedicated to this and a dance floor. In the right third of the room, games have been set up for ponies' entertainment.

A second door, behind the Grand Staircase and partially concealed, leads to the dungeons, the Servants' Quarters, and the restrooms. Not that there are any servants currently residing in the castle, or any prisoners in the dungeons. It just wouldn't feel like a real castle if there wasn't a dungeon, would it?

A third door, situated right inside the entrance from the Courtyard, leads up into one of the turrets, and controls the gate that is the entrance to the castle. The Gate controls, however, are roped off, but can be seen.

The fourth door leads to a room that is comparable to a museum and trophy room. It contains many great works of art, many of which are sculpted or carved out of the same varieties of sand the Castle itself is. There are some legitimate works, however, and at least one photograph of a family of four, and for some reason, a pile of bandages have been given a high place of honour...


Don't worry, even though the Sand Castle may be made of, well, Sand... There's no chance of it collapsing. The highly condensed sand is quite as strong and sturdy as stone. And you'd be amazed just how intricate a Sand Castle could be...






Rules:

This is a Romantic/Party RP. The Fliers claim that the party starts at 6:00 PM, and ends in the morning. I am willing to open up other areas of the castle if you have a good idea for some castle-y thing to add.

1. Try and keep it down with the NSFW and R34 Content. And please try to interact with more than just the single pony you choose as a special somepony.

2. No drama is carried over from previous roleplays. Its okay if the ponies that came knew each other previously, but I'd prefer it if references or couples from previous RPs were kept to a minimum. Just a pet peeve I'm starting to develop.

3. No Alicorns. No exceptions. I am willing to accept Alicorn characters under the condition they consent to play as a mere unicorn or pegasus.

4. No excessive violence, godmodding, or controlling another character. This is a party RP. Sure, maybe a fistfight will start, but if things get murdery in here, your OC will be asked to leave.

5. Alcohol is allowed. The punch in the punch fountain does contain small amounts of alcohol.

6. Grammar, people! You've got to use good grammar! I have the right to deny you if I'm less than impressed. Sorry, I'm a grammar nazi at heart.

Yeah, nopony's been claimed yet. Bit slower-flowing than the Garden Party, in that respect. In the Garden Party, everypony was pretty much claimed by the third page. I may or may not be exaggerating.

The Garden Party sorta just fell apart. Too many people left for the holidays. When this is over, or maybe when the Amblezon trip is over, I'll do a reboot of the Garden Party, and you can get another shot then, eh? Well, anyhow, Cascade's talking to Star Keeper, and Master got off for the night, so Cascade is free to talk. String may not roll that way, but they can at least meet, eh? I'm bored. xD

Just a note to Flame Dancer and Rockshire. If you're planning on fillyfooling... don't. It ruins it for the stallions because they don't get partnered and then they stray away from the RP, i suggest not even messing around with it in the roleplay.
