So, I decided to make a new avatar. And since I am a attention critique whore, this.

 

And if you are nice.

 

Any critique is nice. And as far as the gradient at the bottom, that is utter randomness. Plain backgrounds are dull.

Love the eyes, but now that I look again, yeah. They look the TEENIEST bit off.

If you are talking about the shading style, not long. At all. If you're talking about ponies, but under a year.

 

Takes about 4 hours, and I did not charge. I may do commissions at one point, but I probably won't.

Hm, i might have to take up on that in the near future. I have a few requests for other people still out there, but they are really backed up, so having one sooner would be nice while i wait for the others.

The background was bothering me. Therefore I fixed it with an over the top gradient and shadows.

I use the gradient tool on photoshop, mostly. I also use their filter for rendering clouds, but that's a bit more complex. You need photoshop for it though.

Thank you for the info I actually got photoshop and tried a bit because my photoshop is very old the gradient doesn't work really well and is really complicated but I see what you meant with it so thanks for the info!

I could send you a simple tutorial for a cloud background, as well as a night sky background if you want. It isn't too hard, provided you know what you're doing.
