But I guess it was only a matter of time before I gained some perspective, and, well, I have it now. I look back on my past statements on her character with shame and regret. There was a LOT more to her than I gave her credit for, and I've recently realized that it wasn't just this season's episodes that made that so. (Though she has just been KILLING it this season, make no mistake.) Season 4 has added some new material, but that depth was always there to some extent.

 

It was inevitable. She's not my #1 fav (currently knocking on the door for #2, to be specific), but Rarity has won me over. Score another one for the good guys.

 

Good to be here. Better late than never.  :D

 

 

Rarity wasn't my favorite at first either(I didn't hate her) but I saw some interesting reviews of her on youtube from people who thought she was best pony and watched more episodes centered around her and I realized she was a lot like other artists I'v met. Seemly shallow and self centered on the outside but a soft and generous heart on the inside. She is a complex character with a lot of emotion and attention to detail like myself so I relate to her on that level. I wish we would see her do more magic on the show besides just levitating objects with her magic. 

This is beautiful... I don't know what to say, you guys rock! So much Rarilove recently...

Trust me when I say that I do not tap into that part of my head often, but if Rarity is practically presenting herself like that, wearing a saddle and everything, it becomes hard to resist drooling on the floor.

Trust me when I say that I do not tap into that part of my head often, but if Rarity is practically presenting herself like that, wearing a saddle and everything, it becomes hard to resist drooling on the floor.

I don't see any arousal from that picture to be honest, and this is coming from a 13 year old going through puberty. Any other Rarity picture I understand though.

I'm looking forward to this episode. In my opinion Corey Powell's writing is not really all that horrible, and I'm not going to lose any sleep over people hating Rarity because they're too dumb to understand an episode of My Little Freakin' Pony.

 

Plus SPOILERS

 

From the description given for this episode, Rarity is going to be under the effect of some spell, so she can't really be blamed for her actions. Also the spell was apparently Spike's idea so it will all be his fault. 

 

Oh Spike, you're so good at being terrible, and I love you for it :P

 

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Spike, a lot of people can't stand the little guy. Plus he's got great taste in women.
