Sadly, like others in this thread I am too young to get a job. however, steam gaming seems rather popular at my high school and as such it isn't at all hard to make money by selling.... yes... you guessed it...

I work at a gas station as a cashier. I wear a Baskin Robbins t-shirt as part of my mandatory attire, because there is a soft serve icecream station in part of the store. I get to eat free icecream all day, basically.

I also get to talk to a billion different people each day. The store gets a lot of truckers (as in heavy-duty hauling trucks, car delivery trucks...) because there's no roof over the pumps, allowing larger trucks to fuel easily. I have met the weirdest people at that gas station, let me tell you.

It's also self-serve, so when it rains I have a lot more time to eat free icecream.

Currently I'm a customer service co-ordinator at a Mark's (Work Wearhouse; those last two words are slowly being phased out of the chain's title).  I quite like the job.  It's the only work I've had in dealing with the general public where the general public actually treats me like I'm a human being.

Additionally, as many of you know, I also make the occasional extra money for digital art commissions.

i am an apprentice butcher ^_^

my expertise is really seafood, but the seafood/meat department are the same at my store.  i started as just the girl that helps out at the counter, and then they started to teach me how to cut certain steaks and loins, and now i can run the band saw by myself (the bandsaw is very unforgiving! D: a lot of butchers have nubby fingers from em!) x3  ive been here for 4 years, and i love my guys (even if they are horribly messy-disorganized men) <3  and yes i still eat meat and seafood.

I am a CBRN specialist in the US Army National Guard, plus since our unit armorer left I inherited his dutys as well. Most days I get stuck cleaning and servicing all the units weapons(m4,m9,m2HB,m249,mk19,320a1, and my baby the m240B) Other days I get a chance to get out and do some actual training range days(Expert all day every day), shoot houses, repealing, that's the stuff that makes all the BS worth it.

I've fought in a civil war, help people out in disasters, worked as a bounty hunter for certain government, private investigator, mercenary coordinator, boycott organizer, high roller, been in a tv ad and lots of other stuff which are better left unmentioned.

I'm thinking of a political career "soon", I could easily win elections in some areas as people in those areas see me as a prince figure but I have a much bigger ambition.

Seems legit. If you succeed, you better include your avatar on your new printed currency. My morbid curiosity demands that you keep us posted on how it all works out.

I currently get SSI for severe Aspergers Syndrome, anxiety issues, and hydrocephalus. I do not get too much and even though I am 20, I do not live on my own and may not be able to.

Doesn't sound too great of an existence, which it isn't, but I do what I can with it.

I'm a Quality Control tech at Certified Power.

Basically, I yell at machinists for making bad parts, measure things down to the fifth decimal place, calibrate measuring machines, test surface finishes, etc. etc.

I work at a T shirt shop in Nova Scotia. We have been getting so many Brony T-shirts it's insane!! My favourite is this one that has Rainbow Dash on it for girls. I love that a new generation is getting the chance to appreciate the ponies again!!

I am so excited! BROHOOF

@,

Printing a new currency would require congress approval so it wouldn't work out and I can't win a presidential election yet, I could easily win elections for governor in certain provinces but I've already fixed up the places where people are willing to vote for me without ever being an elected official and I don't feel like taking free paycheck and pension from the taxpayers while doing almost nothing.

Government officials tend to focus on GDP and population growth but I see a small city with absolutely no poverty and access to clean water, medicine, charity paid education, full employment, unique language and culture, genuine friendliness, low crime rates and legalization of certain vices which prevents gangs from popping up as a much better model.I don't see the need for massive urbanization, urban lifestyle , massive tourism that would turn a small utopia into a large city filled with crime and moral decay.

I could do more to improve living standards but I don't need to be an elected official to do it and people tend to have unrealistic expectation of elected officials while I'm revered because I'm the guy that did everything for the good of the community without getting an official title or payment.

I guess I should visit them more often to boost my own morale and reassure myself that enduring all the violence and insanity is worth it.

You're probably thinking Hollywood style stuff for the things I mentioned I did in the past but it's really not that hardcore.I appeared in a tv ad for 2 seconds without any lines trololo.

I work in an credit, debit, gift card processing company. It's very self-managed and light technical work and I've been doing it for awhile. Big perk is i get to surf a lot (what I'm doing right this moment) between calls and issues and its good pay/health care. Might be a little boring after so many years but i like routine, the freedoms involved, and having half the week off due to long shifts.

Indonesia's government is too corrupt to pass legislation fast enough anyway let alone enforce it effectively. Not surprising that there's no trust whatsoever in the bureaucracy.

Signature to come soon. I think. Yeah. Once I think up a nice one. Or when someone makes one for me. Damn it. I need more time to draw and animate poni. >_<

Can't really call it a "living" because I still live with my parents (I'm 16) but I look after people's pets when they're away on holiday, mostly in the summer. It's generally just cats and rabbits, though I have taken care of dogs, guinea pigs and ferrets before, and at one point I took care of a parrot. (I never liked the parrot, kept trying to bite off my finger :3)

The first time I did it, it was a week for two different people, got £10 from each. One of them then posted on our area's online bulletin saying I was the guy to go to if you needed a pet sitter :D So then I got some more clients during the following winter, and the next summer I had eight clients n.n

Last summer I had a total of twenty-five clients, I think (not all at once of course). It totalled to £470, which is really awesome. A lot of them I do regularly, and some are still new. No clients this winter though.

One rabbit I took care of was called Angel. Win much?

As an individual with Autism I have done some public speaking at conferences on the subject and those speeches have been fairly popular so I am going to start by writing about that and then ease into some other subjects once I have my foot in the door. If this plan works I will help myself and individuals and families with affected by Autism so it sounds pretty win win to me.

i could hug you for this x3 one of my little brothers is autistic.  he has trouble reading, but hes quick as a whip with math and recalling information.  its like his brain records everything! hes so smart and shy, and my grandpa is teaching him how to play the guitar.  he can already play a song in his first week x3  sorry i just had to squee~ x3

I work at a warehouse right now until I can build up a solid client base since I am also a personal trainer. Love the job and getting to help people reach their fitness goals, whether it be weight loss or muscle gain. Very rewarding!

I had trouble learning how to talk, I lost what little language I had at age 2 and regained it back at 5 so language did not come easily to me at first. But around age 10 I developed a talent for writing and around 12 I discovered my talent as a musician when I composed a song and this was before I could even read music. I was soon enrolled in the school band and took piano lessons and when I was in high school joined the jazz band as 2nd and eventually 1st piano player. But no matter how much I have tried I have always been terrible at math I could do the basics but Algebra is where I reach my stumbling block.

That is really cool that your brother is learning how to play guitar, being a musician is a lot of fun it is like learning a whole new language. It is people like you and your brother are who I am hoping to make a difference with as soon as I can get published, most people are surprised when they find out I am autistic because I have advanced to the point where I can easily blend in with a crowd but it took years for me to get to this point.

I'm going to be a physician in about half a month.

I will take the exams for residency in Radiology next year.

If every thing goes according to plan, that is.

Highschool   yay only responsibilities keeping my grades up. But even that can be hard, along with musical stuff.

But I hope to become the kind of physicist that studies alternate multiverse and time travel and wormholes and all the awesome stuff you see in science fiction that people occasionally test in the media ^_^ just discovering stuffs not discovered. I also find the string theory fascinating.

your daily dose of unoriginality.
