Destiny VS Choice.

We see it in movies, books, shows, and in real life, the battle between which is better, your DESTINY or you CHOICE.

 

In the route of My Little Pony, I have yet to see too much on this subject from the show, but I definitely feel with recent revelations in the season finale, it could become a big subject. 

 

Basically, I would love it if they did some character development in the somepony's judgment between whether they should follow a so called "destiny", or use their own judgment and go against it. (Oh god did I just type in pony terminology? e_0)

 

I definitely see it becoming a part of the upcoming episode here, and possibly more soon, but what do y'all think? Should one Protagonist follow Destiny blindly, deviate from destiny and make their own choices against the will of "destiny", or moderate somehow?

 

What do I think? I HAVE NO BUCKING IDEA. Well, one should start with their own better judgment to look at the path projected by Destiny and decide if it would be good for them and others to follow. But based on the situation, it varies a whole lot.

I believe we are destined to do some things, but that we choose how they happen. For example, we're all destined to die, but our choices in life can change when and how we die.

i would love to see a destiny conflict to come up in the show. i think it would be cool if they fought it at first but in the end decided that it was the right thing and went with their destiny. however this is coming from someone who thinks its an awesome idea for twilight to become an alicorn. so you can take it however you want.

ya they haven't let us down before and i doubt they will now. also i see it being Twilights destiny to become an alicorn and the trouble she has accepting it. that is where i want to see her fight against her destiny only to later accept it as what needs to be done

I say that they're mutually inclusive. Both "predestination" and free-choice and paramountally important to the operation of one's life. I understand life is more of a "dualdoxy" of both rather than an "orthodoxy" of one or the other.
