Just stand in the middle of field where there's no glass or doors to hit you. I would hate to have just been walking down my hall and have a window burst on me. I would never trust glass again. I feel really bad for them. But honestly, I would've loved to see a meteor or meteorite do that, but hit some place where no one got injured. Prayers for you Russians that got injured!! It was pretty amazing this was all captured on camera and with social media, it spread quickly. There was something on the news about meteors being visible in the US by noon. (I was inside all day). Oh well, If I had PS, let alone more experience with PS, I would've shopped it and made the smoke rainbow and put Dashie at the front. This is comparable to the event in Tunguska, Russia, in 1908." Scary stuff. That's not even mentioning the second, unrelated asteroid that impacted in Russia today. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/15/meteorite-streaks-across-russian-urals_n_2691904.html The rock exploded approximately 15 miles above the surface. Over 1000 people were injured when debris shattered windows and fragments over the Urals. Hopefully what we can take away from all this is that space programs are essential to our survival as a species. We need to be able to take preventative action when faced when these kinds of events. It's the same wall of force regardless of whether an asteroid, bomb, volcano, or exploding chemical plant causes it. More seriously, this should be a wake-up call. This kind of stuff actually happens and we have to deal with it. Granted, this was a little asteroid, but there's lots larger ones that'll be coming our way some day.
