The countless tears I have shed on your behalf,

have now flooded my head in despair.

The pain you feel is my pain as well,

together we make a broken heart.

You feel as if you need that person,

but inside you know you don't.

Friendship is magic, I wish you could see that.

I feel as if I now possess a greater burden.

As much as I want, I cannot help you.

The pit you have dug is too far under for me to reach.

I try and try again to help you,

but my attempts go unfinished.

I love you as if you are my brother,

yet you hurt me like a lover.

Every fiber of my being yearns to help you,

and they cry because I can not.

You have to choose your own path,

and that path does not involve me.

No matter how hard I cry, these tears will never wash away what I have done.

The deeds that occured in the morning will forever be etched into the database of my mind.

My words of aplogy will never be enough to mend the mistake I have made.

In my heart, I know I will never be forgiven.

All I can do is ask.

This horrible pain that you have given to me is apart of my heart, sucking away it's life.

Yet I choose for it to be this way.

And the tears continue to fall...
