How do you want the CMC to get their cutie marks?

It is very likely that eventually, the cmc will get their cutie marks. But how would you like them to handle it? 

 

I know that this thread could possibly spark up some alicorn twilight discussions, but please keep it to a minimum.

 

I haven't come up with much of a story, but I do have two possible scenarios in my head. The first scenario is to give each of them their own episode, about getting their cutie mark. The next would be a two-parter season finale because it would be pretty cool to give them a two-parter. The first part would be about them ACTUALLY learning about what it is they're doing wrong. The next part would be about each of them discovering their special talents, thus earning their cutie marks.

 

How do you want them to get their cutie marks?

I would like one to get it before the other two. That would lead to a pretty interesting plot, where the CMC can't really be the CMC anymore because one has a cutie mark

I really want all three of them to get their cutie mark then with a surprising twist, only two out of three have real cutie marks. Then, we see the two CMCs go on adventures while the third one stays at Ponyville.

Because it would be an end to another story arc, just like magical mystery cure was an ending to twilight's original story arc.

 

Plus, I don't want people saying things like "They better handle it better than the handled Twilicorn."

 

And I also said that one of my ideas was to make it a two-parter. I bet someone is going to say something like "why would the cmc get a two parter if twilicorn only gets one part?" 

 

People also tend to mention twilicorn in completely unrelated threads. I'm just annoyed by it, and was just asking everyone not to talk about twilicorn in this thread.

I think, when the series is over and in the last episode or two, they finally get their cutie marks. Also, maybe Sweetie Belle learns to use magic better, and Scootaloo learns to fly by herself would be epic imo

Well maybe someone (somepony) a unicorn perhaps, alicorn Twilight is fine too, can cast a spell to give them their cutie marks in which they lose because they did not get them by their "special talent", but instead cheating, and they just never gain them at all. EVER.

Scootaloo: escaping a crowd of Changelings to deliver a message to Twilight.

 

Sweetie Belle: satisfying the Changelings' hunger for love with a beautiful song, helpling the ponies to win the war.

I never really thought about this before, i guess i'd just like to be surprised, the day they get their cutie marks is the day i explode with happiness..... twice

I haven't really thought about this.

I mean I can make speculations, but every time I do I end up wrong.

I would just wait for it to happen.

And although yes when they get their cutie marks it will end their search for it, that doesn't mean that their adventures have to stop. Most of their better episodeds involved them doing other things. There was mention about their cutie marks, but that wasn't the main focus.

The point I'm tryin to make Is that even if they get their cutie marks, I see no reason as to how they won't be important or have episodeds later on.

I even have possible episode ideas for them to have after they obtains their cutie marks.

If I can think I them then I see no reason why the writers cannot.

I'd like the episode to be like a 2-parter or something, just to see the ending of the adventures of the CMC after all they've gone through I think it would be a pretty worthy episode to have a 2-parter finale.

I had a thought that maybe their older sisters would help them point out what they're talents are and then they can earn it from themselves after that.

I would honestly like to see them get there cutie marks in separate episodes but that will probably not happen.

 

Since there is a huge possibility they will get their cutie marks in the same episode, I would like to see two get their marks at the beginning of the episode and the last one being unable to discover her talent until near the end.

If they will get them, then maybe in an entire episode about this event. Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle could be send on a trip around Equestria were each one discovers her special talent to get a cutie mark at the end.

 

But otherwise, the Cutiemark Crusaders with cutie marks wouldn't be the same anymore. Their journey to cutie marks can be like Sysyphos' work in Greek mythology. For insulting them the gods punished Sysyphos with rolling a rock up a hill onto it's top, but everytime short before goal, he lost grip and the rock rolled back to the ground.

I want them to get sent on an espionage mission by the Princesses so that they can spy on the Changelings. However, they end up getting spotted and having to revert to plan B. They activate a thermonuclear device at the heart of the Changeling hive, but it hasa timer, so they have to escape.

 

 

 

They make a very narrow escape, but end the Changeling threat once and for all and get their cutie-marks. When they return to Equestria they are hailed as heroes and they have Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon put to death arrested.

I was actually thinking about it this morning. Like a few in this thread I think it would work as a 2-parter.

 

I hope they do get them at some point in the overall story. If they do it'll most likely happen in the final season near the end like an episode or 2 before the finale of the series.
