Twinkies are coming back.

Yeah I do too, sure I may have built up a lot of muscle but I still struggle to get rid of my big gut. I did bring it down for a little while but then I started getting knee injuries at work and it is really hard to bounce back after that.

One of the biggest misconceptions people have about weight seems to be is that if you look fat that probably means you're not healthy.

You can look like a total couch potato and still be considered healthy. It's just some peoples body's don't shape out as well as others.

It won't really matter. But, I guess people will enjoy twinkies and just like them. They are pretty much desserts that are cream-filled. I know it makes people overweight, besides there was going to be a law in New York banning sugary drinks to stop obesity.

Thanks a lot, Bloomberg. (sarcasm intended)

Hello!

Hah, i'll be the first to ask, and the first to make a fool out of myself, but... What's a Twinkie? huh.png. I suppose it's something eadable, if so, i have never eaten a product called a "Twinkie" :P

Yes that is true, I have an aunt who is stick thin yet is incredibly unhealthy because she starves herself is a smoker and eats nothing but pudding, oreos and stuff like that and is sick all the time. Then there is my brother who looks perfectly healthy but has a nasty case of acid reflux disease. I am lucky though, I may be 350 pounds and have a gut but I look more like I am 250 pounds because of the muscle I am packing underneath that fat and I almost never get sick but when I do it is never just a normal flu though. I think if I get back to my weight lifting and cut down on the sweets I can get this under control.

They must call it something else where you are. Chances are you have something very similar where you're from. It's a cream filled sponge cake.

I am going to have to force myself to not go to the store when these come back. Here's the thing I am not really that fat. I am about 5"7" and my weight is supposed to be like 160. I am like 188 now. I used to be like 197-198 around that range. When I heard that I had Diabeties and was this close to getting Insulin or pills that was sort of a wake up call for me. There's still a bunch I have to do, and I can't even begin to tell you how hard it is for me.

Not to ruin the topic, but I never liked Twinkies....yes, go ahead and call me crazy, but I always have found them...like gross. Then again, Hostess got worse according to my mom, she said they all used to be actual like home made sweets with real chocolates, instead of the waxy kind, and the cakes that don't taste all...fake.

I actually never understood how Twinkies were soooo good, but maybe that's just MY opinion on the taste, after all, everyone's taste buds are different. I just never fell in love with Twinkies and thought they just didn't taste that appetizing. Once again, that's just me

I never really liked Twinkies much. They just tasted like cardboard sponges with mushed-up cardboard as the filling.

Now Ho-Hos on the other hand...THOSE were delicious.I could eat them all day, which I actually did do once.Never gained a single pound.

I hadn't eaten Twinkies for years before they went off shelves. The last one I had was after they were pulled, my employer bought hundreds of them for our staff Christmas party to enjoy. Admittedly, they are delicious if you only have them once a decade!

I'll probably buy a celebratory box if they come back on the shelves to try em out then not buy another box for another 10 years.

YES thank you for telling us this news! I have never tried a twinkie before and always wanted to try one. I guess it's not impossible anymore.

I never quite understood what the commotion is about. Sure, I'm not American, so there's that, but still, when I was there, I was (un)fortunate enough to try this thing and I wasn't pleased. It's not really such a treat and probably one of the most unhealthy things ever, so why panic about it? Does it really have so many fans who drool just after reading the name?

Now, I would understand the commotion if the message was "No more hamburgers, ever. No fries either.". I would even shed a tear if that were the case, but this spongy-cakey-thing?
