Now tell me. Are you a boy? Or are you a girl? Well I was a boy the last time I checked.

Where do you call home? Unova, more specifically Virbank City.
What is your dearest ambition? (Are you a trainer, or a coordinator?) I've wanted to challenge a region's Pokemon League pretty much all my life. I guess I was inspired by Red, I always thought he was cool when I was a bit younger.
Have you traveled before, practicing your craft in other regions? Yes. As I said I'm from Unova and I even got a few badges but I stopped challenging the gyms a while back so im a little rusty. Recently though I've gotten the urge to give Johto's gyms a shot.
What Pokémon will be your partner, from the very beginning? (Under certain conditions, I will allow you two to start with.) Growlithe and Riolu here. I remember my dad catching Growlithe for me as a birthday present. He knew I wanted to challenge the gyms so he figured I ought to have a Pokemon to battle with. I only got about 3 badges before I heard one of Team Plasma's speeches. I had heard of them before and at first I thought they were just like Team Rocket, those guys Red fought, but after hearing that speech....Well needless to say I released all my Pokemon. As I was walking away Growlithe ran in front of me. He wouldn't leave no matter how much I told him to so I figured I should just keep him. A few months after that, while I was in Floccesy Town visiting family, I heard Growlithe barking wildly. When I found him he was fighting with a Riolu over some berries. I guess the Riolu sensed my aura or something [don't they tend to that?] because when I came over the Riolu stopped fighting and acted like he wanted to come with me. He did of course and the next day I bought a Pokeball for him and decided to challenge Johto's gyms. I suppose the fight between Growlithe and Riolu inspired me to start battling again so here I am. [OOC: That was probably longer than it needed to be...]

What do you look like? I'm nothing to special, pretty average really. I wear a blue shirt with a black jacket, blue jeans, gray shoes, blue eyes, brown hair that is somewhat long [it's just barley in my face] and a lot of the time I will have my headphones with me. I guess since I'm from Virbank I really love music, especially Roxie's.

Quick question; how will move sets work? Should they only be to a certain level currently? If so; which level?

 

Also; will TM and Tutoring moves be allowed? (Cos, I would love to get the third best combo ever on Oddish, but yea. :3)

There are no TMs in the sense of the game. Rather, a TM is a disk you put into your pokedex that walks you through how to teach certain pokemon certain techniques. In that sense, you have unlimited uses of TMs, but you have to train the pokemon to use the move instead of it just being done for you.

Well, this will probably be more along the lines of the Anime, ie, levels don't exist. And you have to train your pokemon to get them to learn a certain move they might get by leveling up. I'll let you know if I think a certain move is overpowered early on. Or I can just keep track of what moves you use over the course of the RP. Only four at a time, now.

I would say, go for an advanced RP, or at least try to, means a lot more exposition and a lot more words from every single member, but it's worth it.

 

Also having too many people travel as a single pack is confusing, it loses coherency and makes everything a giant wibbly wobbly mess. I was in an RP with 15 people once, I just left cause I couldn't keep up with what was going on and my character was outright ignored completely.  Wouldn't like others to suffer the same fate.

To be honest...I would prefer a normal RP We can still write detailed posts but we don't HAVE to write 800 characters. Plus I am already in one advanced RP and its kinda difficult reading all those posts when the internet keeps cutting out

If you guys REALLY Wanna make it an advanced RP than okay. But I personally find the normal RP's more enjoyable...you wont need to write a big huge long post when you are answering one question. I Usually make my OC's just keep talking because I don't really know what else to do.

Think about it. You get to describe the actions of at least one or two pokemon under your control as well in the post. They don't have to be in their pokeballs the whole time.

Or up to six. I just hate getting pretentious, personally. And advanced roleplays always get like that. And I am kinda self conscience.

 

EDIT: Also, at least for me, my pokemon will be rarely out of their pokeballs. So yea.

Honestly, if it's going to be advanced, I'm probably out. I mean, I will probably take more time with my posts on an RP like this, but most of my posts barely reach the minimum in a normal RP. I'll give it a try, but yeah. I'm not an advanced RPer yet.

I will say one thing, if it moves too fast, and I end up being in the wrong time zone. I will end up getting out. It was an issues with the last role play I was in.
