So, I saw Lost's Art thread (http://mlpforums.com/topic/47966-lost-art/) and decided that it was a pretty nice way to showcase your art on these forums! I've decided to do something similar. I will still make new posts for new drawings, but this is where I'll group all of my drawings together. I hope my tale of improvement will help others get motivated to draw more!

Sees 'Failed Pinkie Pie'. Looks at avatar. Looks at Pinkie Pie. "That looks familiar." Anyway, nice art. You can see it get better and better as it goes on, which shows your progression. I wish I could draw ponies.

Thank you for the review! This is actually just sort of a gallery for all of my drawings that I've made and will make. I'll put all of them here in this one post. In the ones that you said that I traced, I was actually trying to clean up the sketches and get closer to the drawings. I've actually ommited all the traces I made when I first began. I tried to make the lines smoother, having more confident strokes with my pen. In reality, the undersketch was a whole mess. But I can see why you thought they were traced. Anyway, I'm still updating this thread with my later works. Check back sometime if you want! 

 

EDIT: Also, the reason you may see it as traced is because they're in the same pose as in the show. I took reference, but did not trace.

Look at some tutorials, keep on trying, make artist friends, and never, ever lose hope, and you'll get there my friend! Thank you for your comment.

The pulp fiction crossover made me chuckle, that's such a great scene in the movie

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and thank you very much for the feedback!

 

I made the Pulp Fiction crossover immediately after seeing it. My mother had gotten me addicted to Tarantino.(Still missing a few movies, like Reservoir Dogs)  I tried to stay true to what was going on in the scene. Rainbow Dash's face was actually kinda fun to draw! I accidentally ended up making their suits have a little texture thanks to me drawing on top of my folder which has a wavy vertical lines, and I liked the effect, so I did it on Twilight's as well, and used it a little bit in the ceiling too. 

 

And, as for the wings of my Lt. Flutters and General Dash, I was going for a feel so that, even if they are pegasi, they'd resemble angels a little more than usual. They were very hard to draw, especially Flutter's curved wings! I have no idea how I pulled it off, honestly.

 

I can't really see what you see about Granny Smith, but then again I've only started playing Borderlands 2 a little while ago.

Regarding Granny Smith, the thick black lines and flat colour makes it look like the Borderlands art style, a somewhat graphic novel cartoonish feel.

 

Your rainbow dash and fluttershy wings remind me of this:
