What if Applejack stayed with the oranges?

    Hey guys!  Rainbow Dash the Fourth here with a puzzling question  I just imagined now. What if Applejack stayed with the Oranges and became proper. Would there be night forever, a messed up Applelosa? Or do you think because Twilight has a special connection with her friends before they even know it  that it wouldn't be possible. Personally I agree with my most recent statement, but the possibilities  are endless and I want to hear what you think *Points Hoof through screen at viewer*. No more apples, and she'd probably gotten her cutie mark as an orange with a sadface on it, since she doesn't like oranges.

And then she never would have met her friends, and Discord and Chryslis and Nightmare Moon would win, and the world would be chaos, and it would be MLP:AIM (My Little Pony: Apocalyse is Magic)

 On a more serious note, the Oranges already failed to make her act proper when she was there. She slipped up and probably would have continued to slip up. Applejack talks about how she figured out she was meant to be on the farm.

The real Applejack was mini in "OrangeJack's" eye to prevent the end of the universe. Your post made me chuckle a bit to and thanks for that.

This is an interesting question, but I think that it is pretty contradictory to Applejack's true nature. She probably would never gotten her cutie mark, because her true talent is taking care of Sweet Apple Acres with the Apple family. She is honest, so she wouldn't lie to herself about being happy with the Orange's. Finally, she probably would have been made fun of, having her adorable country background. 

 

All in all, I don't think that Applejack would have been very happy staying in Manehattan

Love these what if questions because they make you think

I know many are saying that she would never stay, but let's say she did for the sake of arguing

 

She would eventually learn everything there is to know about acting and speaking fancy (as Applejack would put it, or used to considering the timeline changed). She would be known (think of that Rarity episode where she became popular in canterlot. All thanks to her acting

 

But

That's the thing

It's all an act

Deep down she doesn't feel happy. She doesn't like the life style that she is in. Dispite all she has learned and all the popularity she has, she doesn't fell happy. But she made her decision long ago and knows no other way. The lesions she learned have been stuck in her head and she knows of no other thing.

What if she hadn't stayed?

What if she had stayed at Sweet Apple Acres with of her family?

It's questions like this that keep her up at night wondering what could have been.

She'd become a pretentious yuppie driving down Manehatten in her plug-in hybrid, adopting baby zebras reading her biography of Neigh Guevera while sipping her soy lattes at the local jazz club. See? Now you appreciate Applejacks character more when you know what she could have been.

Well she'd probably end up not able to get her cutie mark, considering her destiny involved working at Sweet apple acres. Plus she was a bit sloopy on being proper, so she'd slip up on it. And really she wouldn't be very happy, its kinda unrealistic for her to have stayed really seeing how unhappy she was.

 

If she did stay there though, then technically the world would be in eternal darkness, because AJ wouldn't have been there to save her from falling or to be the last element of harmony. So yeah in theory it would mean eternal darkness. She would be in Manehatten throughout this and I doubt she'd end up coming to ponyville. If she did she wouldn't as likely ended up with Twilight.

 

It would basically screw up the whole timeline.

If she stayed with the oranges, she wouldn't have gotten her cutie mark or went back to Ponyville. They would teach her how to be a proper mare with proper manners and small portion meals. Not the best life, plus she would have never known who her true friends would be if she didn't return home. Plus, when your being taught to be proper and eat small portion meals in Manehattan. You would just run off and never return. Her new name would have been OrangeJack.

Well to me it's quite simple what would have happened......

My belief is that she would have stayed with them for several years after the Sonic Rainboom event and eventually got bored of it...

If you remember she didn't exactly like it there...

 

So either way she would have returned eventually, but probably later then she actually did.

So really, not too much would have changed in her life...she was always destined to go back home

OJ becomes a wealthy juice baron. With her status in high society she is introduced to important someponies all the time. On one such occasion she meets princess Celestia (maybe a run in with Twilight) and learns of the Summer Sun Celebration being ponyville not to long from now.

 

She dose not have to much time be for then and a pony of her status will need a new dress for that evening. Lucky for her she has heard of a young hot shot designer. In Ponyville no less. To bad it will take a week to make  especially seeing as OJ has a how you say...unique physique. looks like she is staying at the farm for a week.

Heart-warming little comic put up on Equestria Daily a few weeks ago. Mainly about the feels, but it did get me thinking.

 

While the apple-bucking, Element wielding Applejack is the one we all know and love, I do like the thought of her finding happiness even if she didn't take the path we've seen in the show. I like to think of destiny as something that flows and reflects you, not the other way around.

 

The future is not set, there is no fate but what we make.

i rewatched the first two Terminators recently.
