i was thinking that we need more parody musicians in this fandom. i mean, sure, we have a few, but the fandom is overpopulated by electronic music. not that that's a bad thing, i love a good wub wub more than the next person, but it gets boring that all we have is pretty much that, with a few other genres sprinkled in.

i'm working on the lyrics for a brony parody of 'Holiday' by green day.

i'm fine with it. at least there's some level of variety to the electronic music here, though house, dubstep, dnb, moombahton and trance seems to be the most common ones. if i wanted to listen to Holiday, i'd listen to Holiday, and not a parody of it.

Out eating at a traditional Japanese place with a buddy of mine, he orders something on the menu for the both of us, I don't know this specific word but whatever.  It comes out, looks like raw fish that has been slightly cooked out the outside, I'm like, ok, cool, I dig in and I'm like "Weirdest texture for fish, doesn't taste like anything I've ever had..."  He's like "That's raw chicken..."
