We talking about classes right now? art was my class. give me a lump of clay and i could make great things. like when we were making boxes, i decided to make a nightmare before christmas themed one. i put a random jack skellington face on the sides, and on thr lid i put a little sculpture of him on a tombstone.

That says quite a bit to me actually. I've never seen a desert before, and if I have, I certainly don't remember acknowledging that it was such. It sounds interesting nonetheless.....for example, a manmade lake? What have the people in that area done?

Yes, the bottle was in her ear. 0_z

I was more or less judging stability by the frequency of "bad incidents"; it happens more so outside the schools than within them in my area. No wonder they're putting more traffic lights and radar gun tower things on the roads...

Louisiana? Well, that explains everything. The area's melded with French culture. My area is really ethnically diverse, but one would either need to thank or blame the military base for that.

It's logical to dam a river for the sake of flood control and having a sustainable water source, so it's unsurprising to find a number of man-made lakes as a result, but the Salton Sea was more created out of flooding from the Colorado River than trying to dam a river. Was it? I'm not sure; I thought it was that farming fail story...

I've lived in a desert my whole life, and it's not done any significant harm to me. I know the east US is more forest, mountains, and cities, but the west US is more rocky deserts and sand than river-bound cities. I've never been any further east than Nevada, so I wouldn't know what a non-sandy area (whether it be beach or desert) would be like, let alone the towns in said area. 0_x

Have a link. The artist who drew this made a short haired Mane Six series. They're all adorable.

I was really happy for that link.

But then I soon found out that Fluttershy was the only good looking one out of the six. :/

Im trying to like Applejack's, but its kinda hard.

May I? Woodshop, music, computer, and art were some of my favourite classes. Woodshop is quite self-explanatory, but there's a bit of house construction to it. Music, well I always wanted to play the piano as a kid, now I can't and I prefer typing. Art, yeah you could say that I'm a fairly proficient artist, but throw it with a computer and I'd go crazy. I even took a digital design class. That was the only experience with Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop I ever had. I'm more for programming and computer science, but even with just programming, one can get creative. Hey, I spend so much time with a computer anyway, I might as well do something with it, even if the first steps is just goofing off and making weird programs that hopefully don't throw you in infinite loops.

She does have the best one out of the six.

I just think it's a breath of fresh air when the characters are drawn in different styles, so I think the series as a whole is good, it just works on some characters better than others. The next best ones to me are probably Rarity's and Rainbow's.

Dude, for serious, I'm recording what I'm seeing, and on my end, because I didn't refresh the page, I'm seeing two of your posts, and each one has a different avatar. I'm guessing you switched out avatars while I was still typing, what the frick?

I'll post the video momentarily.

Actually, scratch the video; it'd take too long.

Yes I did switch avvies. I went to an older one I used. Might keep jumping around till I find one I like or feel like finding and making a new one.

So you're saying manmade lakes are a result of flooding from manmade water sources. For a second I thought it would have something to do with years or erosion or pollution, so thanks for explaining that.

It's all well and good. I've never been further west than Colorado, which is mostly flat land with mountains in the far distance. Also, it takes a few days to get used to breathing in air at higher altitude; it's always a little bit jarring when you're flying up from slighly below sea level.

That avatar is so stupidly cute in multiple ways.

I love it.

lol why is that?

Because I got into MLP last year around June, and this last year has been the worst, saddest year of my life. It was also when I started confiding to people about my feelings like an emotional teen girl. My life would be so much better if I had just kept believing that MLP was for little girls and that people only liked it for ironic humor. Sure, I've always been depressed, but depression is nothing without things to get depressed over. I was a fool to make more emotional connections with people, and I wish I could have never started watching this show and making friends. Just one among many retarded decisions I've made in my worthless life.

Well, the creation of something like Lake Mead would be a bit self-explanatory; its creation is due to all of the backed-up floodwater that would otherwise inundate the downstream area. A lot of manmade lakes are created by some sort of damming of rivers, or diversion of water to a reservoir.

The Salton Sea's a bit weird because I'm under the impression that its creation was catalysed by people. Take away the sea and it would be an area where runoff from creeks would naturally flow to, a basin, so another Salton Sea would have formed inevitably, but I feel that the Salton Sea that formed in the early 1900s was partly because of people, because the people decided to bring in some water to the basin, but yeah...

And I thought it was like the Great Lakes or the Great Salt Lake, where it was already there for thousands of years...

For the record, I've never been to the Hoover Dam, either, but I know what it would look like; There would be a giant arch bridge, a dam below the bridge, a lake behind the dam (which is shrinking, actually), a bunch of power lines stemming from the dam itself, and a highway that's connected by the bridge.

What's up everyone? I worked until 2:30 AM last night. Very late. I was only supposed to work until 1:30 AM but things ended up getting later. Oh well, I got an extra 8.14 dollars in my next paycheck.

I have work again today, but at 5:00, it's coming. And I don't think I'm looking forward to it.
