There is currently no rule requiring this so we  do not enforce it. Also, top men think the overuse of the spoiler tag actually is a UX (user experience) sin greater than the load time issue. In some cases, spoiler tags do not prevent data usage anyway.

It's more of the giant spaces it adds to threads that's more bothersome.

That and the fact that the generally don't do much for any form of conversation by themselves alone or mostly alone.

I may know this feel if I can't make it to Bronycon this year. Only made worse to know there's a friend of mine that I really want to meet once going and the thought of not being able to is really painful to think of.
