There was one chick who did the most adorable Derpy voice (She did a bunch of ones of Derpy being drunk and silly. It was so fucking cute.), but I wouldn't have even thought they'd try to get something similar to her voice.

Because the only reason they didn't give her a voice is because of random backlash. Hell, even if it weren't spot on, I would have liked to hear something come out of her mouth!

I admire the banner.... the background looks about as amateurish as something I'd do.... gives me hope that someday I will make an amazing banner for the forums... I tried once but never submitted it.... it still sits in my files....

no one is born to make a master piece Pink.... everyones first attempt at art looks terrible.... but you take your previous work and learn from your mistakes and find new strategies to make it look amazing.....

I was asking about the poor mare with her hind legs stuck in a cart, whom I've affectionately nicknamed Apple Cart.

 

Well, I found a pic reference for you, even though y'all probably don't really care.

 

 

The one in the cart, see? I doubt her real name is Apple Cart, but...

 

I dunno why, she's just kinda... Cute, I guess? Not as cute as Tavi or Vinyl, but still cute.

if you think "art" is making pictures that "look amazing" you're dead wrong. What I want to know is... why is it so many people here like doing it... I think out of everyone I've met here, only a handful don't practice.

My stance.

 

Traditional art: I've always been regarded as an artist in every art assignment from elementary school to high school. High detail seems to come off to me naturally. Thing is, I've lost nearly all my drawings except for a handful from high school.

 

Digital art: Came in much later but I've had years of practise and refinement; you can search my deviantART for some old stuff. I don't practise it as much due to time constraints and a diminished audience size.

 

Writing: The bane of my existence, and the cause of me failing many an English class. It took me until I was several semesters into college that I began to overcome a lot of my fears about writing, but that only applied to scholarly writing, not fiction writing. If you ask me, fiction writing is my Kryptonite, and a source of half of my artistic regrets.

 

Music: Not very good, but would rather to listen than to compose or to play. The real constraint here is that I only ever took one music class in my life and the only musical instrument we ever have in my family is guitars; I wanted to play piano as a kid.

 

Public speaking: Ehh; I don't mind having to do it, I'd prefer to be prepared for it.

 

Mathematics: Insane; I already had a growing curiosity of trigonometry by the time I was in 6th grade. That's either impressive or pathetic, depending on how your education systems compare.

 

Love: Choose food.

 

Language: I speak one language and I have a hard enough time conveying information with it; part of the reason I don't write.

 

Simcity 4 transit network modding: The last reliable means of self-expression I have left, and all too recently, one I came very close to giving up on.

 

Giving up: Something I've done more times that I want to count, and it's one of the biggest regrets I have.

 

Self-expression: Something I've struggled with for so long, it's a enigma-miracle I still exist.

as a kid I wanted to be a soccer player.... but it was never meant to be.... I had to stop because my asthma.... I nearly passed out while playing once....

 

and now I'm about to give up being a violinist.... I've had this violin for nearly a year and I haven't even been able to play it once.... I can't seem to get the tuning right no matter how hard I try...
