Yeah well...I remember a time where we had to carve messages into rocks, and throw those rocks at each other. In the snow. Uphill!

Ah! I see. Neato! How does that work exactly? I have always been interested in DnD, but never actually really played it given that when I had meatspace friends none of them played. I thought it was a pen and paper thing? Do you not have to be within range of each other to play?

Oh, I was lying about remember how messages were delivered pre-cellphone, using old geezer logic. "Back in my day yadda yadda uphill in the snow both ways!"

Unless I am the only one who has heard that kind of ranting before and now I am just making a fool of myself...which is entirely possible.

 

Anyway! I see! That is pretty cool. What kind of campaign are you running?

Also sorry if I am annoying, just curious and trying to keep up conversation.  :P

Now that I've been there, I can say that it's definitely not fun, but only for about six hours after the appointment and that's when you start taking pain pills.

 

Granted, I was sedated, but either way, not fun.
