It's a mob grinder with a loot collector and an oversized gold chest holding all of the loot.

In case you're wondering, it's a Colossal Chests chest; the storage capacity is 27 times the volume of the chest itself times 2, 3, or 4 depending on whether it's iron, gold, or diamond. In my case, it's a 3^3 gold chest, so that's 3*3*3*27*3 or nearly 2200 inventory slots. Most of it is items that don't stack.

I also made the mistake of disassembling the chest.

I couldn't pick specific elements of why I like it, but it's really the only holiday I actively participate in.
