I don't know much about most of the mods (been ehre for only two months), but at least NC does look...well...controlled.

 

@@NewCalamity,Fact is, if I were to be a jerk and sterotype you, I'd say, that since you're Canadian, your buttons are well, well hidden by default. If I were to sterotype you again, I'd say that your liking of Germany would make me think that when you DO get mad, all hell friggin breaks loose.

Um, but didn't in the "who does what" new post, it was described how many do certain things that differentiate from others? Wouldn't they have to create more badges for that?

 

For example, as far as I know, Scootacool is still the top tech admin guy. Then Zoop, NC and Spoon are a middle between that and moderating, but more developed in the moderating part, right?

Um, but didn't in the "who does what" new post, it was described how many do certain things that differentiate from others? Wouldn't they have to create more badges for that?

Everything can be categorized into four group:

Tech Admin (everything about the site as a whole, and the servers, and anything else)

Community Liaison (taking care not to let the community took a wrong turn, and keeping everything community-wise in check

Global Mods (taking care of any misbehaving that is too large for section mods to handle)

Section Mods (acting as a fast-response unit to take care any small misconducts, and keeping everyone aware about the rules)

 

And this forum also have this Community Steward thing, which is people who take care of the extranet stuff (Minecraft, TF2, Video Friday thing)

 

That all will need five badges, we have three already

Eeyup. I can understand that. But yes, more badges are to be had. Would make it slightly more colorful. Now, to actually get someone to invent others (you have to admit, the Royal Guard badge is great for staff. Where would it go should badges get more...independent?).

I think NC means whenever someone accuses him of National Socialism. I don't think it would be that common (nor do I know why it insults him), but I think it's that. Someone is bound to make comment over that kind of things, whether we want it or not. Then again, I could be seriously misunderstanding this. I don't know. Hopefully he'll answer you.

Being how I'm the only one camping here right now, my replies come fast...but it's 4AM, I'm starting to fail at this, and probably scaring out NC, Dreamwalker, whoever else. I better go to sleep before I do something seriously stupid. Also, you can get mad if something as innocent as, well, NC's signature, for example, gets related to something totally different. National Socialsm was the ideology that the Nazi party followed in the World War II. Since NC, as I read in his profile (sorry if it seems like stalking ), has relatives that come from Germany, and is also interested in German history, yeah, if I were him, I'd be slightly pissed off to get related to THAT certain thing. If I'm wrong, I welcome him to delete my post now. Like I said, it's late. I really shoudln't be up so late.
