How in the world can you dislike coke? It's good in whatever condition you're in. I swear it's the best all-round drink there is.

And coke is horrible imo. I can drink it, but I completely prefer Sprite over it anytime. I prefer Sprite over everything actually. Sprite dominates everything.

But I got this... whatever it is, if I translated the name literally it would come out as "Bright Moon" or "Moon's Shine"

I yearn for this day. It will be glorious when time is nothing more than GMT +/-. No more fiddling with clocks for no reason and no more DST zones. I think its a reservation in AZ that has multiple zones of DST. I.e. 10 feet could mean that it is or isn't DST.

Gah, writing complicated/weird stories is so hard!

 

Trying to figure out what level of emotion I should portray in this character I've got in my short screenplay.

She's part of a computer system, so I want her to have a very cold logical feel, but I don't want the audience to hate her for killing the main character that she doesn't want to kill in the first place.

The big pain is that for this to end the way I want, she needs to befriend the main character in some way, but that's a hard thing to do due to the time constraints of a short movie.

You can put the program as "willing to warn the protagonist about imminent dangers (as long as it doesn't against her protocol), but unable to stop herself from shooting the protagonist because the protagonist entered a forbidden area she must protect" or something like that.

 

Not really sure about the "cold logical feel" part though...

GMT-7. I already began following GMT the moment I started my RP.

Don't quote me on this, but the point of DST is to maximise the amount of daylight in the morning. With the 25-hour day coming up, that means that nighttime comes much earlier, which I would rather prefer because I grew up with it, and therefore makes sense to me.

 

I'm not much of a morning person, ironically.

 

And Arizona doesn't exercise DST because it's cheaper not to exercise DST.

A majority of this takes place in the 'real world', but inside a dream. It's not like Tron where there's programs everywhere, but I did take some inspiration from it in that Indica (the computery character) refers to the main character Jay (May be a temporary name) as a user.

 

The story in a nutshell:

Jay is a writer with writers block who can't get any ideas down.

The computery character is called Indica, she's a blinking text cursor who as 'guardian of the document' is sworn to kill Jay as he had slain many previous cursors by closing the empty document window.

She doesn't want to kill Jay though, and I'm trying to figure out a reason for this and many other things.

 

If you want to read what I've got so far, I'll save it up in a PDF and slam it onto my Google Drive.
