I also quite like that episode. Really don't see why everypony hates it...

The main thing about the episode that many people don't like, is how "breaking the set ups" goes (though I don't believe this is Merriwether's (the writer) or anyone's fault). For one, the arrogance of Rainbow, the passive/aggressive actions of her friends to "make her" learn humility, disrrupts facts about Ponyville, like there being a hill when Ponyville is supposed to be totally flat, and a few other things.

 

I could actually try and explain all those, but it's a really subjective matter, I think.

The general opinion on the entire series in general is beginning to reverse. Therefore, I shall drop out before it worsens. The series sucks, anyways. I only paid attention to only the microscopic details that no one even bothers to pay attention to.

 

If you can find some way to make me reconsider, then I will retract everything I have said.

no, I respect your opinion. What I'm curious about, is why are you on this forums, why do you have ponies OC's and want to write fanfics with ponies, and also did an RP game with ponies, and you seem to know many of the borny locations the wasn't provided by the show.
