For an example, I didn't get any notification from your post, but sometimes I got quote notification from others

 

An emoticon can break shit up if placed inbetween quote brackets, need more testing to see what went wrong. (Haven can quote dozens of posts filled with emoticons but nothing broke)

 

Apparently <hr> is also acting bizarrely, I guess it's because the removal of </hr>. Using <hr> and quote boxes can ruin your posts.
