I am very happy about this!

 

The only downside is I now have to decipher the speed by using milliseconds, which, really isn't that big of a problem.

You can use Libby's method. She cropped a horn from somewhere else that matched the head and pasted it. I'm not sure if it can works with the animation, though...

It could work, Id just have to make sure its in the same general spot whenever the head moves.

It depends on their age for the most part. Alicorns have the pointiest horns, and Cadance's horn is pointier than Shining Armor's.
