The psychology of it. Pinkie is overwhelmed by the fact that she's unable to devote herself to all of her friends? Why is all of her self-worth focused on what she can provide for others? That episode, if they do it right, is going to touch a lot more on Pinkie's self-image and how she sees herself and how she should live than it will on just boring comedy.

I mean, there will be funny stuff in it, but if it's not a sad episode I will be very surprised. I'm getting all kinds of vibes from it as the next Party of One.

Hmmm...I think the question will be induced if it will be exactly what we both are thinking, or maybe with just the synopsis it would be too soon to tell. I'm begging to believe the last one. Because you're right. But I don't think that touching the sad part of Pinkie through this way might be what they do. If anything, her friends MIGHT get frustated at some point triggering the sad moment.....OR maybe the division of Pinkie will divide her actual life energy and will make her tired and tired until even her friends notice it and try to convince Pinkie to end the spell.....OR cloning Pinkie might be divided in several personalities of her and it's her friends' job to try and get them together before something bad happens.

Just the premise allows for many, many different things, you know? Not just sad.

Spot on. Although, I'm not sure if it will be a boring comedy episode if they don't touch on the deep feelings of our dearest Pinkie Pie. I have enough faith in the writers on this one.

That's the way they write the show, and I would expect no less.

It does. I just think it's likely to be sad because that makes the most sense to me based upon the premise.

But mind, if there's been any consistency to my predictions for episodes in the past, it's how consistently wrong I am with my predictions. I've never been right about anything.

Should I even try to understand what's going on here?

Star Weaver had already said that this thread is beyond understanding and I agree. You should do the same.

Also, one of the topics is the jsut released synopsis of the MIGHT BE third episode of Season 3, in which Pinkie will clone herself to try and be with all her friends at the same time.

Let me try and explain it.

Trollestia, me not liking it, Celestia appearing in your house and people responding to what they would do, predictions of Season 3, and stuff that doesn't fall into any of those categories that's kind of popping in and out like a dolphin jumping in the ocean.

Dat rhyme...

Also, there needs to be a better word for a fan of Tia.

Celestite sounds weird.

How much more obvious could a Celestian be...

The new Pinkie Pie episode has a good chance of letting Pinkie Pie interact with her less pleasant side if the magic mirror manages to clone her in a way which would represent a very poor physical manifestation of her. She'll be conflicted, no doubt, if that ends up happening.

Wait, doesn't Party of One count as a slightly sad episode?

It ends up as being silly when Pinkie Pie do her wall-eyed stare to nothingness. There is a lot of weird-silly kids' cartoon out there, but hardly any of them have a truly sad episode, and I doubt FiM will break that stereotype

And that's better, because the surprise makes for a better chapter feeling, whether good or bad. Also, another thing I just thought up is, this might be something that slightly copies Appplejack's personality. Her dependability and trusty personality that she can make it to help everyone, but which can also tire the freak out of her. That could be applied here too.

Then it would be more like my fanfic idea. AWESOME.

Good thing I have more than 1 fanfic idea.

It will have a sad episode, one day. I'm 99% positive. Of course it'll have a happy ending.

And I like when the thread talks about something serious, it's nice talking about something serious, throwing humor in with it.

Name something you've been right about in your life. It helps you stay positive.

Quite a few things. When I said that I was referring to my predictions for MLP: FIM episodes. In the past, I've predicted, amongst other things:

The Last Roundup was about Applejack's parents.

Read It and Weep would involve a Reading Rainbow joke.

Putting Your Hoof Down would feature Iron Will as a pony that was actually Rainbow Dash in disguise trying to help Fluttershy buck up.

Dragon Quest having huge amounts of world building.

Hurricane Fluttershy involving fighting a wild storm that escaped from the Everfree and threatened to destroy Ponyville.

And so on and so forth.

The celestials? Also, as for what would I do if Celestia was slouching on my couch, it would be shock, rubbing eyes, jump in joy, calm down, ask if I can take a seat next to her, ask her questions of Equestria, and proceed to slouch with her, in that order.

Reading this thread will melt your brain.

I wanted to use a real word like Lunatic. Celestite is a lovely rock.

Some of your wrong ideas sound kinda cooler. They'd make good episodes my themselves.

There is so many things that I can think of with this premise...and having a slight writer's mind, I don't know if this is good or bad.

It can happen. It's the GCT. Anything can happen.

And touche, but still, Pinkie's paranoia and utter untrust is something that could be considered as depressing, or at least creepy, in my opinion.

I used to play Wizard101

And there was a world there called Celestia

It was underwater and a fallen empire of the celestial bodies

I don't remember if it came before ponies

So I don't know if they stole the name or something

But the inhabitants of it were called Celestians.

The fact that there wasn't a reading rainbow joke made in Read It and Weep saddens me.
