Actually, I agree with you.

 

I think that in order of best to least best, I would rank them like this:

  • The Dark Knight
  • Batman Begins
  • Rises
It's not that I think that Rises is a bad movie, it's just that the other movies were better. The Joker made The Dark Knight; in my opinion, that movie is in a league of its own. Batman Begins was an awesome origins movie. It really did create a strong foundation for the other movies. In my opinion, Rises was also awesome, but it just wasn't as awesome as the others.

 

Bane as a villain lacked the depth that the Joker brought to the table. I found the death of Bane to be profoundly anti-climatic. I had a few other nitpicks as well, but it seems sacrilegious to rant and rave about Rises… After all, it was the last one - so they say.

Actually, I agree with you.

Also, I didn't care for Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I mean, she did a fine job, but there are better actors out there.
