One of those wouldn't work since one of the victims is absent. He comes in later in the story, though.

Sometimes I really hate my computer. It's an HP (My dad bought it, not me), 3 gigs of Ram, I believe, and it gets so hot. Yet my dad can leave his computer, which is an HP as well, on the carpet, and it won't get hot at all.

from what i've heard, HP laptops are often prone to have failing ventilation systems, which makes them as hot as you describe yours at. i could be wrong though. is his computer newer than yours?

My laptop's an HP, and so far, it fails at both clock speed and at being a handwarmer.

Mine can warm hand's a-plenty, and when playing Portal 2 and sometimes even LoL, it gets slow... But I bought it for 300-350 USD, so that explains it...

My Toshiba laptop doubles as a frying pan that doesn't require a stove. It just needs about 3 hours to heat up. I'll stick with my HP desktop for everyday use, and the Toshiba is just collecting dust.

I think they were made around the exact same time. It doesn't matter though. As long as I don't try to run Chrome it works fine.
