i want to make more sample-based songs, instead of just writing MIDI-tracks, but i have no idea how to get the sounds and ideas i want out from my head.

Currently self-pitying myself over this, actually.

I have great ideas, but I just can't... figure out how to get them down...

A common conundrum for anyone attempting to make music. Myself included.

 

But since I've had no motivation at all for the past week, I haven't even tried to come up with something...

I want in to this group as well. That feel is one I know also.

Visual Basic programming language, all using Visual Studio. Yeah, I'm a programming student. What would happen if I tried in C++?
