Then what is the use to be quoting them? It is kinda like hitting someone, but not explaining why you are hitting them, but.... in a friendlier way? 

 

If you find it unnecessary, then don't quote, it just shows you aren't really interested and you might just leave the one you are quoting confused.

That policy only ever applies to posts that contain words AND images, and it best works if the quotation and the original post are on the same page. Normally, I'd replace it with a description of what the image is, but failed to do so.

It is better to address it than leave it be. If not, then it is not really their fault. They need to be let known that they were wrong so that they can fix it
