Well done! I was just about to post that very video!

@@@Snowflake Frostflame, @,

Guys, am I the only one actively staying out of this brawl and listening to...

I do so love classical music...  :pinkie:

:D Yes, Ganaram! I will marry you!

I can't top that.

Top what?

Hey, guys! So, I was about to read through all these posts, but then on page 6802 I came across this:

I hated storywriting so much back in high school; that distaste still resonates in me today and it's never gotten better...

So who wants raw information injected into their brains?

PHYSICS! ELECTROMAGNETISM! MAXWELL'S LAWS! MUST WATCH!

I actually just learned about these last semester. ^_^

Also,

@ @@JonasDarkmane

oh this isn't just about an RP... its a fic.... this would be the ending to book two.... or at least a sample... I'm definitely going to alter it when the time comes...

Ahem...

I lied there starring at the sun I could barely move but I was too weak to get up. I used what strength I had left and turned my head towards Rave. He wasn't moving either. Then that means I have succeed and saved Equestria, but I doubt I'll be saved this time. blood filled up my mouth and I was starting to choke on it. This was it. I've met my match and I'm going to be reunited with my sister at long last. Snowflake noticed bright light and a figure coming from it. was it my sister he thought. No Snowflake had never seen em before... the figure came closer it was an Alicorn but like none he had ever encountered.... maybe Rave wasn't bluffing when he mentioned his parents not being regular ponies... though it didn't matter Snowflake had a gut feeling she was here to avenge her son... but he didn't care he was already a dead stallion. To his surprise he was casted away with Rave to some outland where his wounds were healed. Snowflake then asked why would you save me? She then replied... to serve me... the image I saw was no longer an alicorn... words cannot express what I saw... but it was then on that day I went from an assassin to a guardian of some creature... and with Rave by my side Equestria would be rightfully theirs...

AH this is such chicken scratch.... believe me it will be a lot better when I actually write the story

I like it! Nice story so far!

damn, you guys are getting me in a real good mood to write.... inspiration is going by me left and right :pinkie: ...

You know what, now I'm starting to feel like giving writing a try, especially now that I'm on uni break and have all the free time in the world. I've only been using my OCs in RPs so far, but I wonder what I can come up with if I try writing a story about them?

Also, if there's been any more conversation about this story past page 6802, I'm afraid I missed it, since ELECTROMAGNETISM. So sorry if I missed any important story information since then.

That was unnecessary.

I believe the word you're looking for is "platonic".

That's a word I could have used, yes.

Brawl? What brawl? I want in!

Although, fair warning, I may be a bit distracted from this electromagnetism video. So, please hold your punches if it gets to an especially interesting part.

Nah, the brawl is over. We're at the hugging part now.

Indeed we will.

PHYSICS! ELECTROMAGNETISM! MAXWELL'S LAWS! MUST WATCH!

I actually just learned about these last semester. ^_^

Seriously, though, it's the most awesomest force in the world that isn't gravity and everyevery we do revolves around it. (I took physics last semester and fascination's still resonating in me.)

Also, the biggest takeaway from that course is being able to state the basis of electromagnetism in English sentences, as if to someone you just met, like so:

1. An object's electric field strength is directly proportional to its charge. (Gauss)

2. You can't break a magnet in half such that there's a separate north and south pole. (I remember this one as the "No monopoles" rule)

3. A changing magnetic field can induce an electric current (or electric field). (Faraday or Faraday-Lenz, depending on the presence of a negative sign)

4. A magnetic field can be created by an electric current (or moving charged particles). (Ampere) A changing electric field can also create a magnetic field. (Ampere-Maxwell)

5. If a changing electric and magnetic field reproduce each other (as described in parts 3 and 4), the result is an electromagnetic wave.

Probably not as pretty without the actual equations, but an English explanation is also pretty important to someone starting out.

Quack, I'm a pig.

There's another EM video (it's much older), but it gives a rather interesting backstory about electromagnetism. My favourite part is this: Electricity and magnetism evolved as two separate disciplines, and then one day, a guy by the name of Øersted conducted an experiment to try to prove that they were two separate disciplines, by using an electric circuit and a compass.

Øersted: OK, so I'm gonna run an electric current through this wire, and if my hypothesis is correct, the compass needle should NOT move at all. (Turns on circuit) See? Nothing happened-- wait... (Notices the compass needle is now pointing differently) Uhh... Wait here...

My brother also urged me to watch a video about a chocolate ball...

smart man

I haven't seen the earlier seasons. Should I?

g3 is actually weird.... and I don't mean story wise... it doesn't have a season thing like g4... instead it has a list of episodes.... apparently g3 only had 13 episodes... such a shame....

or at least thats what I understand from my findings..

all in all g3 is amazing... and its highly underrated..

I have so many videos to watch now. Electromagnetism is amazing!

It is great to be able to understand and explain electromagnetism without equations. But I also know quite a lot of equations for it too. A lot of test questions for that course required us to use integration to determine the total effect of a continuous charge or current distribution, and those got pretty difficult. The really awesome thing happens when you can use these equations to solve for the electric or magnetic force acting on an object, and then use that force in kinematic equations to determine exactly how that object will move as a result.

I think the only thing I know about that is that there was a G3.5 and I think a G3.75...? That's seriously all I know and I'm not sure if it's right.
