EXTREME PAINTBRAWL, only the for those of you who are EXTREME.

Seriously though, if only I could get a copy of it.

S.V.R. Stop. Violent. Recreation,

I know it's tuff but let's all try to stop playing violent videogames, violent TV, violent thinking, and just violence in general.

One game I remember in particular is digimon rumble arena on the playstation. It was a bit of a bad super smash brothers clone, but with Digimon! A digimon fan couldn't ask for anything better! The sequel made quite a few improvements to the game mechanics making it a little more unique, but it still felt a bit like a clone.

I still liked both games despite their unoriginality. It was still a fun fighter to play with friends when they visited.

Oh, and speaking of obscure digimon games, I almost forgot I played this one: Digimon Digital Card Battle. It is kind of like pokemon TCG on the gameboy, but of course with digimon cards rather than pokemon cards. There is a plot in there somewhere, but I honestly can't remember anything about the game other than there being some bad guy at the end of the game that quite litterally stacks his deck.

I guess SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online, I'm sure none of you guys have ever heard of this online multiplayer game.

I posted this video to show what it is and not to gain any profit in any way, shope, or form.

Megaman Battle Network 3 for the gameboy Advance.

Posted Image*me about to tear up some rocks and shrimps*

I have clocked around 500 hours on this game(about 3 playthroughs). This game is so amazing. All of the other battle network games suck compared to this one. I could write a massive article trying to explain why.

Anyways you should all go download a GBA emulator and play this game.

Theres Ib, but that has gotten popular since Pewdiepie played it. I remember when I would talk about it no one would have a clue what it was

Unfortunately, no. I never even played the card game for real. I just randomly picked up that game at my local rental depot for the weekend when I was a kid. I can tell you that google is your friend though and that im sure there is a rule book or guide out there. Maybe even a youtube video...

I dunno if you could call Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings obscure since it bears the Final Fantasy name but I don't know if anyone even realizes that Final Fantasy XII got a sequel. People have even downright said they wanted a sequel and then when they hear about RW they say they didn't know it even existed.

Dude, Megaman Battle Network 3 is possibly one of my absolute favorite games of all time. The sheer amount of times I have replayed this game makes me glad I still own the original cartridge. It wasn't just the story and awesome characters either, a good junk of the chips were broken and overpowered as all hell but in a good way. Plantman and Folderback come fondly to mind. With that being said, a few things regarding this post

  • I wouldn't exactly call this game obscure, considering that next to Street Fighter, Megaman is (or was as the case may be now) Capcom's biggest cashcow

  • As a huge BN fan, the other games didn't suck outright except for the god awful abomination that is 4 (hate that game SO MUCH!). 2 was boring, 1 was experimental and 6 was way too easy but that's about it. 5 is only hated on due to Liberation Missions which really aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. 3 still crowns above them all but that's beside the point

  • 500 hours seems a bit of a stretch for only 3 playthroughs, even with both Blue and White. The total game is only about 50-60 hours afterall, and that's only after grinding for 4+ of everything. But hey, that's just me being nitpicky so whatever.

I'm not sure exactly how long I've played on it, my game got deleted halfway through several times (freaking siblings >.<) I've only completed three 7-star playthoughs and I'm about halfway through on my current game.

You may be right about it not being obscure, I'm honestly not sure how to determine its popularity... Wikipedia says it sold 500k copies in Japan so I guess its not too unknown. It is 9 years old by now though.

I might give MMBN5 a second look, MMBN3 was the first one I played so I might have been over-critical.

There are a few glitches I try to ignore (11th chip glitch+Folderback XD)! That still won't save you from the time trials though. >.<

Fluidity is an awesome game I never hear anyone talk about. In the game where you manuver different forms of water through puzzles. It sounds simple but it can get really complicated and addicting. I assume no one played it because it came out on wiiware and hardly anyone goes on the wiishop. It also has a really peaceful and relaxing soundtrack. Anyways play it naow!!!

I just remembered an awesome game I doubt anyone here has even heard of but is one of the best hidden gems on the PS1:

Granstream Saga

It had a lot of hype before it was released but it didn't get many sales so it was lost to the void.

Wow, I'd have to say Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for the PS1. I mean, it's not really too obscure, with tons of fan art on deviantart, but when I say klonoa, not a lot of people know what it is. And most people who play it consider the game a classic. Posted Image

There is a game called 'to the moon' by freebird games. i think it is the most emotional game i have played.

the soundtrack is amazing too:

Hehe, it just got released on steam today!

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty

It's an alternate history World War II era game.

It's pretty unique for a shooter, but was ultimately a failure.

I have that game. Like you said, it did have a great background to it. An alternate history where Churchill is killed and the Nazis invade America. But it was a bit vague.

POSTAL 2

post-7223-0-09398400-1347430983_thumb.jpg

a game that has been BANNED in 8 American states, Australia, Germany

the game contains a lot of violence and dark humour, i personally love this game it is the best. It can help reduce stress by taking your anger out on a full town.

Well, I know that there are a lot of videogames that are underrated, obscure, or just plain ignored that people like. This thread is here mainly so you can discuss any underrated, obscure, or ignored videogames that you like. Stuff like "Mystery of the Japanese Werewolf" and "Ninja baseball batman" are welcomed here.
