I also loved Celestia's story & how sad she was when she sent Twilight Sparkle to live in Ponyville.

I was SO happy that Princess Celestia actually had a prominent role in a season premier for once

instead of just showing up to explain who the newest threat to Equestria is for the episode.

Celestia was SO awesome in Celestial Advice! I didn't even know it was possible for me to love her even more than I already did, but that episode proved me wrong!

LOL, that part REALLY threw me off, I totally did not see it coming. But it was so cute! She really needs to laugh more often.

Agreed, she finally got the role she deserved. I still hope she gets an episode centered around her in the future, though!

I LOOOOVED that part. It will go down as one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. It was ADORABLE. And, it was really nice seeing her briefly break away from her usual calm and collected demeanor.

Really liked the 'I wasn't aware I was an expression' line, too, haha. It's actually pretty amusing to think that she never heard it before. You'd think she would have by now.

It only took me seven seasons of Friendship is Magic to finally see Princess Celestia as something more than just a relayer of

imformation to Twilight Sparkle/The Audience.

Now, I see Celestia as what I've always wanted her to be,

a compentent teacher/mother figure who is there for her subjects when they need guidence.
