Found myself re-listening to Shai Hulud yesterday. I had forgotten how good of an album 'Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion' is.

Lol that's something we can both agree on. Most of their newer stuff isn't that great to me. Their older stuff is so much better.

Becoming the Bull was the first Atreyu song that I heard, even though I don't listen to Atreyu anymore, it still is a good song, man

 

Also, it's too bad that the rest of that album pretty much sucked except for Falling Down, that was a pretty good song. When Two Are One isn't a bad song either.

Falling Down wasn't too great to me, though it was definitely better than the other tracks off of the album, When Two Are One, was a little bit iffy, though still better than the other tracks.

A Deathgrip On Yesterday by Atreyu is a really underrated album in my opinion. I think it's really great.

That's alright, sometimes it's nice to lessen down and listen to some Killswitch Engage and Atreyu. Though if you wanna get outside of entry level then you should try Norma Jean's newer material, I think that you might enjoy their album Meridional.

Norma Jean are probably the best band for someone trying to step out of the typical Melodic Metalcore stuff. I'm not too sure what you'd think about their older material, though I know for sure that you'd be okay with their newer stuff.

Backstabbers Inc. are definitely one of the most underrated Metalcore bands out there, jeez is their stuff ever good, their music is a total punch in the face, definitely worth checking out.

Any of you guys like The Number Twelve Looks Like You? I used to think this band was pretty bad, but then I checked them out some more and ended up liking them a lot. VERY interesting style. Give them a listen if you haven't heard their stuff before.
