Inhale/Exhale is great, and yeah I trashed all of my CDs before, because when I was 10 years old I thought that Linkin Park were a good band, so now my CD collection is quite small, though I plan on growing it some more. But yeah besides that did you get Prowler In The Yard yet? That one is my all time favorite Grindcore album.

All I have is Dark Side of the Moon and N.W.A's Greatest hits T_T

My older brothers were more into rap, so I have a shitload of rap CDs and no metal CDs and I don't know any good record stores by my house :(

Well there's a CD store in the mall where I go to, they have pretty much a whole wall filled with Metal stuff, including albums by more obscure bands out there. Oh well at least you didn't have a live Linkin Park CD that even came with a DVD previously in your collection, the things we used to listen to.

Leaving this track to keep this post half relevant

Wut? If they have Nintendocore, do they also have Ataricore and Segacore too? Is it supposed to be songs based on games? I've heard of this power metal band called Powerglove and they make songs about games and stuff.

"Nintendocore" just denotes any sort of hardcore metal with chiptune elements. It's not all that often exclusive to sounds from an NES.

Even though I know you guys don't like this band, I'm gonna post of one their songs anyway. This song's really awesome in my opinion.

That's one of their few decent songs, in my opinion. Yeah I hate A7X, but I've gotta admit that their first and second albums were worth listening to.

I tried listening to it. I gave up after about a minute, I just don't find M. Shadow's voice likable. Sorry man, a7x just isn't for me.

All right, fair enough.

Maybe you'll like this one better?... (i doubt it)

But anyway, that's enough Sevenfold...

I don't know if BTBAM count as hardcore, but whatever.

Well, remember when I called AX7 a "bootleg Iron Maiden"? That's kinda what I meant. Although, that BTBAM song you posted was pretty good.

This is thrashcore, yes it's a real genre.

Oh yeah, Inhale/Exhale is an awesome album. Trashing all your CD's though? Whoa. Those things cost money and stuff. Sometimes I end when I end up hating stuff I used to listen to, I end up liking it again later.

But anyway, here's some (the only) crunkcore that I actually like. A friend told me about this band in like, 2009. Just remembered about it maybe three weeks ago. Dude.

They're Metalcore/Progressive so yeah they're fine to be posted here   And anyways I haven't posted a single Norma Jean song yet, I'll have to fix that now

Hey Moog, I know you don't like thrash very much but can you give Sepultura a try. They have a different sound compared to other thrash bands and thrash metal is influenced by hardcore punk so this is somewhat relevant.

But to keep this fully relevant I'll post some BIg Black. Remember when post-hardcore was a good genre of music? Peperidge farm remembers.

I doubt that I'd ever get back into Linkin Park or 30 Seconds To Mars ever again. And I don't know what else I could of done with the CDs, since 90% of the older CDs I had were in bad shape so there wouldn't be any place out there that would wanna return them again.

I've been recommended to Sepultura before, though I still do have them in consideration.

This album specificaly is like the border between thrash and death metal. At the same time it's kinda groovey.

This is my favorite Fugazi song.

Alright I'll go listen to it when I'm in the mood for it, also did you like those Grindcore albums that I recommended you?

But anyways I'll leave this track right here

Actually, I listened to Unsilent Death by Nails on my way to school this morning, I really likes it. I haven't listened to Inhale/Exhale yet though :/ I had standardized testing and shit today, and I wasn't aloud to use my iPod.

Haha, Unsilent Death is one of my big favorites, Inhale/Exhale is a really good one as well when you get to listening to it. And do you have Prowler In The Yard yet? That one's my all time favorite grind album.

I just listened to Roots Bloody Roots, and I thought that it was a pretty awesome song, I enjoyed it more than I thought that I would. Now as for recommendations, uhm....I don't know, I can't really think of any other Grindcore albums. You could possibly like Jane Doe by Converge, but that one's not a Grindcore album.

Give this song a try maybe.

Kvelertak are a go as well, they're pretty much a Hardcore Punk band with Black Metal inspired riffs. I already posted a Kvelertak song above, though I'll leave another one as well.

Alright, I'll give Converge a listen. I'll tell you what I think of it.

Hmmm... I thought it was pretty good. It's kinda like Naplm Death only with higher vocals.

Pretty much that's what Converge are like, which is why I figured that they were a maybe for you. Personally Converge are one of my all time favorite bands, and Jane Doe is an album that I love so fucking much. Their stuff after that album (with the exception of You Fail Me) doesn't have that same Jane Doe sound, though they all are good albums. Though their most recent album All We Love We Leave Behind had more clean vocals on it than usual, not saying that it was a bad album, it was still a pretty epic album.

I'm listening to Nasum right now, it's pretty good. Do you have a RateYourMusic account? Here's mine if you want to take a look at it.
