Well "haters gonna hate" but then by your own post you know that anyway, incidentally I find it funny that it was Nickleback that you responded to, not say Britney Spears, it's a pretty popular bandwagon to hate on her last time I checked.

Their lyrics are the worst I have ever heard in my life. Their music is very generic and it all sounds the same. The singer's voice is extremely horrible and annoying in my opinion and it makes me wanna shoot myself. They have very very little musical talent in general. And you wanna know why I hate them so much personally, it's because they are played on the radio everywhere I go and I can't go anywhere without hearing their songs that annoy the shit out of me. It got to a point where I started despising them because I was so sick of hearing their shit. There's a few songs I don't mind that much, but other than that, I can't stand them.

I'm always willing to give you the benefit of the doubt it's just you came across as a right ol' sourpuss about it, the crux of what I was trying to get at was it's just silly to be discivil to another person just because you dislike something that somebody else likes. And as a brony I would imagine that is especially true in our case as we can relate to that.

Ah heck I realised I just fell foul of one of my own bug-bears, I mistook what you were saying as being personally aimed, and I should know better I hate a few things my folks like that doesn't mean I hate them too. Sorry RD. Faith in humanity restored.

As someone who was raised off of N.W.A, 2pac, Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, etc. I have to say that Eminem is annoying and horrible.

Pink Floyd is better than Rush.

Opeth and Tool are WAAAAYYYYYY better than Dream Theater.

Lars Ulrich is a talented drummer.

 

Me and Moog don't agree on a lot of things, but Pink Floyd is definitely better than Rush.

OT: Free jazz is far more than just playing as many notes as you can at once. It's about listening to what everyone else around you is doing and responding musically (or non-musically, in many cases).

I'll let out a confession. I don't listen to The Beatles very often, it's not that I don't like them. It's just, there's something about them. I just start to cry whenever I listen to them. I rarely ever cry, movies never make me cry, music may get me teary but it never makes me cry. Happiness Is a Warm Gun is the only song to date that has made me break down into tears, and I mean actually cry. I don't know, I get so emotional when I listen to them. I listened to a couple of songs off The White Album a few minutes ago and I'm still crying.

Hip Hop has been associated with vulgar language since the merge of Gangsta Rap at the late 80's, but there's plenty of Hip Hop artists/groups that don't swear at all

How people say music was way better years ago. Some of the songs sucked just as bad as the ones on the radio today. You just have to look harder for good songs nowadays.

They're a pop punk band, as are many bands that sadly have the emo label attached to them nowadays.
