People who say things like "Music nowadays sucks" are annoying as hell.

 

That is true.

 

Sorry for the mishap of what I said previous, but it's MOST mainstream like robin thick that I don't enjoy.

 

It's all about looking at other genres and artists and even the underrated that makes most music of this generation tolerable.

I also find it annoying when people hate on emo, post-hardcore, screamo, grindcore, metalcore, death metal, black metal, and deathcore. If you're knowledgeable on these genres then fine, but that's not the case most of the time.

While we're at it, I'm going to say that I hate Guns n Roses as well. Their lyricism is absolutely brain dead, Slash is overrated and their only strength seems to be playing guitar solos (which is in essence the art of wanking over random chords). Where's their appeal?

I never got into Guns n Roses, I never really saw the appeal in their music. I never got what was so great about Slash, he doesn't seem that impressive at all.

I don't like Guns N' Roses either, but I REALLY hate Axl Rose. He's probably the biggest douchebag in musical history. I also don't like AC/DC, they bore me to death.

Precisely. I would understand the praise that Slash gets if he actually had the ability to come up with good riffs, but he even lacks in that department

Led Zeppelin IV's alright I guess, but I do enjoy Led Zeppelin I quite a bit. Even if they were just ripping off blues artists.

I personally don't think Metallica is bad per se, they definitely got good stuff out there. But as Dawn said, they aren't really Thrash, but that doesn't really mean they are bad in that sense

It's not an album that I listen to very frequently but I do listen to it when I feel like it, you're right it is a bit out of character for me to like that album, but I do, Fear Factory are a band that I've been meaning to try but I haven't really bothered with.

Hey remember when you said you liked Spirit Crusher? x) Well then again, Death's last album was more borderline death metal/progressive metal than straight out death metal. Even Chuck's vocals were not very "death metalish".
