I never liked custom music for anything, not even covers. Brony music isn't an exception. Just my unpopular opinion

Custom music? The term doesn't make any sense. That would mean the music is made to order, which this isn't. It's just made. Anyway, just because they aren't signed doesn't mean their music is any less legit than anyone else's. I don't think of it as "custom" music, to me music is music.

 

 

 

Let's make it a bit more interesting, shall we?

 

I'll start by posting my top 5 electronic and acoustic.

It's nice to see there is other people who like Tarby, it seems like nobody knows who he is. Anyway, the electronic vs. acoustic distinction annoys me because only fans of Electronic music call Rock music acoustic, from a Rock background it's NOT acoustic, and here Electronic music appears to only refer to EDM, if you ask my music teacher Makkon would undoubtedly be Electronic music.

1. Makkon is a combination between electronic and orchestral; I put him under "acoustic" because he tends to lean more towards orchestral. I'm aware that he probably should have gone under electronic.

 

2. I split the list up because I like so many of the musicians in the fandom. My first list wasn't very comprehensive.

 

3. I'm a rock fan at heart, I just tend to use to word "acoustic" to distinguish it from electronic (see my edited post). I didn't mean to offend anyone.

 

4. SgaP and Replacer are not EDM. Especially the former, who leans more towards the experimental side.

1. According to some people any orchestral music made artificially is Electronic music.

2. Okay, sure. I understand your divisions and why you did it.

3. I'm not offended, just a bit annoyed. Actually the way you used it isn't half bad, what really bothers me is a. EDM fans treat EDM likes it's half of all music and b. how the brony conventions call their Rock acts Acoustic even though everything single time every single act is a Rock act, and when I heard acoustic I'm expecting something like an unplugged concert. You using it just reminded me of that.

4. Oh, right, didn't notice that at first. SGAP is like that Nu-Jazz/IDM/I-don't-even-know guy, and Replacer is the soft-electronic-rock guy, right?

Ah, okay. Everything is good now, so yeah. Anyway, IMO you have pretty good tastes in music, from the guys you have that I haven't really gotten into, at least not yet, I've liked most of what I've heard.
