this article basically says you can now buy pizza with your Xbox 360

 

personally, I find this to be both funny AND awesome!

 

though it makes me wish I could use my 180 microsoft points to buy a pizza, I really want to throw those point on something other than avatar items.

 

But what's next? an app where you can buy coffee and doughnuts with the 360?

I wouldn't use this even though I do have an Xbox 360. I find that when ranking it via taste, Pizzahut scores slightly LOWER than roadkill that's been sitting in the road for several weeks.

Despite finding Pizza Hut's food to be absolutely disgusting (though I will admit that I rather liked the very short-lived garlic bread pizzas) I think this is a fairly sensible move for them,  even if it may seem a little silly.

 

Online ordering is a fairly handy thing, all round... not having to worry about someone mishearing you over a poor phone connection is a great thing.

Well this will not end well before it even begins. Since Microsoft wants to earn more money with another app but since, this time it's a Pizza Hut app they are just trying to enslave us. It will not work Microsoft!

As I stated, one of the advantages I find with online ordering comes with the fact that you don't have to worry about your voice being properly understood - particularly if you're placing a complicated order with a decent number of additions or subtractions.

 

A perfect example of when online ordering is preferable over phone-ins would be the many organized pizza and/or five guys burger runs that my coworkers do... try calling in a dozen burgers, each with their own specifications for pick-up, and tell me that doing it online on a PC wouldn't be more comfortable.

Nice to be able to just take a five minute break in your gaming, order a pizza, and get back to it, all without leaving the comfort of your chair, but I don't really care for several reasons:

 

1. Pizza Hut pizza is not worth the cardboard box it comes in.

2. I don't have an Xbox, nor do I ever intend to get one.

3. I can already do that from my computer, which I'm on a lot anyway, and I can order from a better place (not by much, though).

4. I can walk a few blocks and get kick ass pizza for about half the price of Pizza Hut. Sadly, they don't do delivery.

Oh lords of laziness! My pizza prayers have been answered! Finally I can order a pizza without my intense social anxiety getting in the way! The fun part about this is that I'm being serious. But this does have one fault. You have to exit your game to order a pizza.

I've been wondering what this Pizza Hut app is, as I don't have an Xbox. And live in Europe. But I guessed it was something like this...

 

I'm not surprised that there is now an app for this. After all, ordering pizza via online has been around for a while.

 

But if I had an Xbox, I still wouldn't down this app (probably). Because who would want to quit a game while playing just to order some pizza? Not me, I just want to pause that motherbucking game!

Am I the only one in this thread that absolutely loves Pizza Hut and will be using the shit out of this app for months to come? My hikikomori ways will no longer intefer with ordering cheap food. I hate ordering over the phone, I always convince myself that they didn't hear me properly but I'm too awkward to ask for a confirmation.
