The Godfather. All my friends watched this movie and told me I should watch It. It's an  awesome movie, and I understood why some people though I was a Mobster! Next movie I want to watch, MLP: A new generation. So I can relax of all the "dark" stuff I saw in The Godfather.

The Empire Strikes Back (1980) No need to really go into the details here. One of my all timers. 100/10

Popular Theory (2024) I sure wasn’t expecting this to deliver, but oh my gosh it certainly did! It’s just a simple comedy about a nerdy scientist girl teaming with a like-minded boy from her class on a science project to make unpopular people popular by concocting a chemical (applied to chewing gum) that generates pheromones to affect a positive reaction in others. The lead (Alina Brace) is so adorable, natural and funny, she steals this movie. And the entire cast right down to the smallest supporting role, is well-written and performed. I didn’t expect this from any movie released in 2024 but I loved this thing! 9/10

Monster Summer (2024) Better than expected movie about something nasty lurking in the shadows of a Martha’s Vineyard in the summer of ’97. It had a decent blend of humor and edginess that worked. Mel Gibson also added some needed star power to put it over the top. 7.5/10

E.T. The Extraterrestrial (1982) A decent, solid movie known by one and all as one of the Spielberg staples. I wouldn’t call it an all-time super classic, but a really good taste of the early ‘80s and definitely worth watching. And it boasts one of John Williams’ immortal musical scores. I saw the watered-down 2002 version but the original is far better. 8/10

The TV-movie cuts some material out to meet the 70+ minutes running time, but it's pretty faithful to the book otherwise. Some of the character designs are a bit funky, but I won't spoil anything!

Not the best Predetor sequel (I'd vote for Prey--technically a prequel), but it does have a wickedly dark sense of humor!

Predator and Predator 2 are my favourites.

I've not seen Predators and I'm not sure I'll ever see The Predator.

I'll give Prey a look though, it looks alright.

Supposedly the upcoming predator movie will focus on the predator himself. I'm looking forward to that since I think they're a really cool species. ^_^

While You Were Sleeping (1995) I very nice romantic comedy about a girl who rescues a man from getting squished by a train, and ends up having to live up to a misunderstanding she’s his fiancé. It’s funny and well-written and I try to watch this one every winter. 8/10

40 pounds of Trouble (1962) I had always been curious about this movie and now I’ve finally caught up with it. Tony Curtis plays a casino manager running from his ex while taking care of the abandoned 5 year old daughter of a deadbeat gambler. He takes the girl to Disneyland, all the while trying to evade his ex’s money-grubbing lawyers. Lots of great footage of 1960s Disneyland and a very lovely gem of a movie. 8/10

Donavan’s Reef (1963) A great John Wayne movie taking place in the tropics. I watch it every winter because, despite its tropical setting, it takes place at Christmastime and is a lot of good fun. 8/10
