Maybe I wasn't in a great mood or something while I watched it, but I saw Beetlejuice (1988) the other day and I did not like it at all.

Some people were surprised by my response as they thought I would enjoy it, but nope - I felt mostly bored by this movie.

The Inheritance  (Japan, 1962)

A dying wealthy businessman wants to leave 200 million Yen to his three illegitimate children, if they can be found. Cue all kinds of scheming and shenanigans as to who will acrtually get the money, including a girl murdering her elder sisiter and altering her birth certificate.

Fun fact: the tycoon is played  by Sô Yamamura, who later also played Admiral Yamamoto in Tora! Tora! Tora! So that was a nice surprise.
