you sort of am like me except I'm 1 year younger and I do have some friends some of them are bronies, or they say they are but they don't take being a brony seriously. They don't listen to any of the lessons that MLP teaches nor are they really into it. They just sort of like to see it once in a while. One time my friends and I are at a sleep over and my brony friend says to my other non-brony friend who's raging "Us bronies stay calm no matter what". 2 Seconds later they are tackling each other because they're both raging. lol

I'm kinda in a transition period at the moment and it makes me worried about this. I've made a few longterm friends in high school and a good bunch in college, but I won't be able to see my  college friends until after summer, and I won't be able to see my HS friends for most of the summer while I'm in Michigan working (I leave next week). Setting up to be a bit of a lonely summer.

 

Not to mention I'll be permanently leaving Illinois next year, so I'll be leaving both groups behind permanently then. Part of growing up, I guess...

I feel you bro, I live in a town with the population of about 12. My family makes up 1/3 of the population. I have the same problem as you when it comes to friends and computer nerd and stuff like that. But even though you think you are useless doesn't mean you are. You said that you were good at drawing and creating, well those are great talents. just be the best that you can be at whatever it is you love, I know it is tough now but you are still young and things will get better. And yes I will be your friend.

I moved out of the country, so my friends are far away. I get to see them maybe once per year. And they don't have the same interests I do. I knew them from college, but now they are all "grown up" and want to do boring grown up things. I have 1 friend who likes MLP and some fun things. But I don't get to do anything with anyone, so I am always at home watching cartoons or adding to my collection of games. I wish I had more friends here to talk to.

Heh, just had to add that... Anywho, since every teen else is introducing themselves, I'm fixin' to be 15. I've no brony friends, and I'm quite introverted, but loud when I want to I love to draw, write, etc. I'm also a furry and a bit of a babyfur. I like different things: science, zoology, animation(learning), music(duh ), nature, hiking, amongst things. 

 

I'm quite open minded, and I want to be a director, artist/animator, writer, and a side of zoology or somethin'(yeah, kinda hard to d0...), and I'm also up for any collaboration, right now. I've got good morals and big dreams, even requested Pinocchio(1940) on the Friday Movie Request Thread (which also has the Poll for 6/14 movies, so vote for your movies) n' read the 1883 Italian book because I feel it really represents my dreams, I guess, so it's one of my fav movies of all time. I like to learn new things and such, as well as read books. I'm also big on childhood things-- I'm a nostalgia fan and plushie lover, daydreamer :3. I also support Love and Tolerance.

I am 14 and i have nopony to hang out with.

I got many amazing friends on the forums,

but i want to talk and hang out with other bronies.

I live in a neighborhood with probably no bronies,so it sucks.

Although i love chatting with people on the forums,i can't

help but feel lonely without somepony to hang out with.

I used to have a friend,but he didn't like that i was a brony.

So now i have no friends,so i am pretty much a loser who sits on

his computer all day,only getting up to get a drink or eat.

Although my OC is crazy and random,i can be pretty boring.

My other OC Webster is actually a lot like me more than

Crazy,but Crazy was my first OC.I want to act more like Crazy,but 

i am more of a computer nerd than anything.I am also pretty useless,besides

drawing and creating.My OC Crazy is supposed to be what i would 

act like if i was a pony.I am shy and pretty friendly.

I want to be a fun brony,but sadly i am boring.

This is not supposed to be depressing or negative.

Here's a laugh

You know you don't have to tell people your a brony. Just hide it from them and simply bring it up as (So have you heard of this show called MLP: FiM?) If they assume your a brony in a negative way, then act like you hate the show (ACT).

I know what you mean, I really don't have any "friends" in my definition of the word outside of online really, I have acquaintances I guess, but no one that fits my definition of friends, I don't hang out with any of my acquaintances either. So yeah. 

 

I was homeschooled, but I moved into public school in 8th grade, so I've been there ever since, I find it better overall because atleast I have some social interaction where as after my best friend in homeschool group left me and we stopped going to homeschoool group stuff I really didn't socialize and it was pretty lonely. 

 

I hope that I can find someone IRL still that I can call a friend, because the show and people here have taught me friendship is a wonderful thing, but thats not to say I don't appreciate my friends here, they're amazing people and help keep me from going crazy or anything, and also keep my faith in society and the fact there are good people out there, but I still wish to have a friend IRL sometime.

 

I know how you feel though, but I'm not really near you or anything, sorry :/. Good luck though dude.

Oh good, I`m not the only one. Actually, I used to take online school, grades 7 - 12, not anymore though. Kinda hard to take CT/HD mechanics online. :3 Most of my friends used to be online until I moved to where I am now. There's only a few of them that I keep in regular contact with nowadays. I went the online route because I don't do very well in a traditional school setting and never made any friends there anyway. Nice to meet you. /)

I can almost exactly relate to you, I'm 14, And I don't have any friends currently, Because, Well It's a long story but I'll try to make it short, Well, My friend That I've known since I was 6, Said He wanted nothing to do with me, After I told him I was Brony, After Not talking to him for a week, I Found out he changed his Home Number and His Cell Phone Number, And I've never heard from him since, So for about 1 year now, I've had no friends to speak to, So I just Play on my PS3. I've recently joined the forums, And I'm hoping I can meet some friends here as I can't IRL As I'm being Homeschooled. I'm glad I have someone to relate to, I was starting to think I was the only one with No friends. If anyone wants to chat or anything, Feel free to PM me.

 I know a decent amount of people, and on the odd occasion someone will talk to me and I won't remember their name or (sadly true) who they are, which makes me feel soooo bad  .  My issue is that I have a habit of never getting contact info, so when I wan't to hang out with someone, I have few people who I can call.  The people who's contact info I do have are also always busy or when they are available, I'm not.  Now one of my goals is to get more phone numbers and do a better job of staying in touch with people. 

 

  For a long time I had few friends and had social anxiety, but I've been trying hard to push myself out of my comfort zone, especially since transferring to a new university.  Don't worry about making friends, they'll come in time.  Also, don't try and force it, cause you don't wanna start hanging out with people you don't really like, just cause you wanna be around someone.

 

 

 

  You aren't boring, you could just say you enjoy your relaxation time, and you definitely aren't a looser.  Don't be so hard on your self  .

Dont feel so bad, im sure youll find some friends even other bronies eventually.Personally i only have 6 or so real friends IRL all of which i met at work, I used to have alot more but i have since moved to Ohio from Florida and i dont speak to any of them anymore.None of my real friends are bronys a few even like to try and tease me to no effect.Its all in good fun though so i dont take any offence from it.Id be happy to add you on here and we can talk whenever you like (if im online).Though be aware im not a super talkative person and im actually quite boring myself lol.Even IRL i dont talk much save for a few dry comments thrown into conversations, lol funny story, i was at the mall the other day and as me and 2 friends were leaving a random dude and his girlfriend came up to me and asked if i was Emo, i was kinda stunned at first but i understood why they would think that due to my clothes/hair and if they would have asked me 5 years ago they would be right, i told them no but i am a brony and his girlfriend was like TOLD YOU! and her boyfriend told me he meant no disrespect they just got into a debate whether or not i was a brony or emo.i was wearing a MLP hoodie at the time so idk why they would question whether or not i was a brony but hey...whatever, it was probably the most akward conversation i had in weeks.

I have no to hang out with up here in the mountains. All there is up here is a small town with a small movie theater, a bowling ally, and a Kmart (that gets nothing new). It sucks being 21 and having no one my age with my interests to hang out with.

 

Thirty minutes away is another, bigger town with a few bronies. I may end up setting up a Meetup page for both Chico and Paradise.

 

As of now I am just bored.

I have some friends, mostly from work, but only two or three of them share any kind of interest with me, and none of my friends like ponies. I have thus far not encountered any bronies "in the wild", as it were, but I did recently join a group on Facebook that is of local bronies, and I'm planning to go to a meetup soon so we'll see what happens.

I know what you mean. I find it tough as well as i am also dying to find a brony IRL to hang out with. I live in Singapore. Sure, it may sound not that difficult to find a brony in a city of 5 million people, but word-of-mouth rumors spread like wildfire in my area, with half the people you know knowing your dirt 24 hours after it leaves your mouth. The social media around me is like a warzone,(hate wars, cyber bullying and school scoldings galore) so no luck there. But don't worry. I have had some of the weirdest ideas on how to meet other bronies..(don't ask) so your not that worthless.

 

I'd also want to take the opportunity to ask for any SG brony to PM me. I would really like to meet someone.

I'm having the same problem at the moment. School has ended for this year and all my friends are busy or something, I don't even know. I think being alone started to drive me crazy. I don't even care if he or she is a brony or not. I'm about to lose my mind. Frustrated as hell.
