Sorrow did as implied, and flipped to a page in her composition book, showing out an extremely detailed score. There seemed to be a bunch of 32nd-note runs inside, all of different accidentals, along with a few deceptive cadence chords. It was obvious that she had a bunch of time on her hooves...

...until there was some loud popping going on outside, that got Sorrow to become extremely scared. She jumped back and scurried up under the bed in a ball, shaking and whimpering as always.

Nightraxx immediately heard the loud noises from outside as well. His ear twiched, a little surprised because the switch from Sorrow's beautiful melody to sudden loud explosions strained it a little. "W-what..?" he asked worried and surprised. "Don't tell me..., we've hit something....?" he thought worried at first.

 

He saw Sorrow had hidden under her bed, and he understood why she did. "I..I'll go check if everything is alright outside" Nightraxx said reassuringly and slowly headed to the door and opened it, prepared for the worst.

 

He looked into the hallway, and immediately noticed colourful flashing lights coming from the windows. "What the..?" he looked outside and saw it was fireworks, seemingly being fired from the deck. "Fireworks...? Is there something going on...?"

 

After he made sure it was nothing serious, he slowly returned to Sorrow's room and closed the door, as he knew the loud noise scared her. "I-it's okay...it is just fireworks..." he said gently.

Moonbeam stared at that patch of sky with her eyes wide, the lights reflected in her deep, blue eyes as she watched the show in awe. She let out a long, drawn out "Wooooow!" She applauded him, still staring at where the fireworks were. "That was amazing, Firecracker!"

But being a part of the circus takes up allot of time...we have a couple hours in the morning to do whatever and the an hour for lunch then...an hour at around threeish to do whatever. "Stay back!" The unicorn yelled at the purple mist, who slowly advanced on the pony, who had been cornered by the walls of the cave she was trapped in. The unicorn was tired, and unable to move, or use her magic.

 

Suddenly, the purple beast began producing loud booming noises.

 

"Huh?" The unicorn questioned, before the area around her cut to black, everything vanishing except for her. With a few stars shining overhead.

 

Another boom cut her out of the dream entirely.

 

"Eh?" Firebolt questioned again, looking up at the night sky. She was the kind of pony to dream often, but also almost always ignored them. Especially dreams not very grounded in common reality. Apparently, there was a fireworks display going on right now. Firebolt had never really fancied fireworks, herself, but saw why other ponies liked them. If they were silent, she might actually like them. The noise of them was deafening in close range.

 

"Hey... Why am I outside anyway?" She questioned again. Then began to notice a strong warmth, though it should be cold. Then she realized Windy was wrapped around her, also sleeping...

 

"Ah...?!" She exclaimed, jumping off the couch. She had forgotten where she was when she had fallen asleep, accidentally. Firebolt couldn't exactly leave with him here, so she walked to the glass railing ((Cos glass railings are sexy.)) and looked up to watch the display.

Windy wins these one-on-ones in his sleep, this game is over folks, Cloudsdale has this one in the bag! Wait, what's this? A defender is coming in fast! OUCH, and Windy is flattened! The ref is calling it a clean play, no penalty! Well, this game is over! 1-1 tie, and Baltimare sure got off lucky in this one! Poor Windy, he hasn't even gotten up yet... Might as well roll over and get back to sleep, maybe I'll finish that dream..." Rolling over to try and find the warmth he had lost, Windy wound up rolling a bit too close to the edge of the couch, and tumbled to the floor with an ungraceful crash. "Ow... Ugh, where am I? Why am I outside? What's going on?" Turning his attention towards the railing, where a familiar looking figure was standing, watching a fireworks display. "Ugh, Bolt? Is that you? What's going on?" Windy asked sleepily.

She looked a bit angry, but was also blushing slightly, though that was hard to see, due to the dark sky only lit up every few seconds. Firebolt had gained a lot of energy in the short nap, and was now acting much more like herself. "If you're wondering what's going on though..." Firebolt began, turning around again as another display lit up the sky. "You'd have to guess."
